Considering hotel is next to a busy a road, no noise and fairly good standards of cleanliness. Small car park to cater for hotel, little chef and subway so can get busy. Rooms are a comfortable size, but could do with new carpets/ shower curtains etc. Ideal location for visiting friends in tuxford.

Very convenient location. Very quite despite being adjacent A1. The problem was the single beds in the family room. They were dreadful. It was if the upper mattresses were missing. The beds were hard like base units with protruding springs. The kids didnt sleep much which meant we didn't either. Not great given we have a long drive. Very very...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We’re sorry to hear that you found our pull out beds to be uncomfortable. After extensive customer trials and research, these beds were selected as being the best fit for our family rooms and once again we would like to apologise this was not the case on this occasion. Although adjacent to the A1, you could not hear the traffic. The room was very tidy and the bathroom spotless. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be staying at this one again.

Rooms and staff very good, Clean and comfortable stay. The reception staff particularly Sue and Mary were outstanding although Marie (I think that was her name) was also very helpful. They even remembered us after five months when we were last there. We will return again.

Broke my journey from home to Lincoln. Getting here from the south just isn't easy - luckily I'd done my homework (google street view) or I probably wouldn't have made it. You have to find a small track (looks like someone's drive at first) which runs parallel to the A1. Once there you have the hotel, a Burger King and...

Stay here on a nights stop to Newcastle. The room and hotel felt dirty and the room was in need of decorating. The bathroom and shower were not cleaned properly with long black hairs in the bath and a disgusting looking item pushed down the plug hole. Will stick with premier inn

Very clean and warm. The bathroom was a little odd to say the least. It was clearly designed with the 'vertically challenged' visitor in mind, vas the bath was at most 4feet long and the over bath shower was fixed at about 5feet. The towells were a little threadbare & the shower cutain was ripped( I found this to be...
