Needed somewhere dog friendly. Great place with ground floor rooms opening out on to courtyard. Short few minute walk into Abingdon past pub. Great treat of full english breakfast brought to the door (small extra charge). Double room was small but had all amenities including microwave, tea coffee etc. Little tired but clean.

My husband stayed at this accommodation last night as he was working in the area. The reviews seemed quite good, the reason we booked. Perhaps it was a one off, but he was shocked at the lack of cleanliness in his room. Unfortunately the bathroom was shockingly dirty, however the worst find was the toilet contained "a poo" which confirms...

Really pleased with the accomadation, small fridge and plates and knives and forks all there, even a microwave, and a list of takeaways. It is walking distance to town, but if you do walk at night you will need a torch, only take 5 - 10 minutes. Breakfast is taken in a breakfast cabin ( you book the day before...

We used a mix of B&B and self catering to accommodate family and friends for a wedding and to see in the new year as well. Staff were polite and helpful and we were well provided for with the self catering. We have holidayed with a large group of us many times and this was a special time for ....

We booked a group of 25 into her using 4 of the self catering lodges and some of the B&Bs. The staff were very helpful in organising the accommodations. The lodges are very comfortable although as expected the sofa beds leave a little too be desired in terms of comfort. They are ok for one but a problem for two....

Very friendly lady on reception, nice clean room with everything you need only down side was it was quite small. Lovely grounds and swimming pool. You book the pool and get it to yourself which I thought was great. We walked into the town which was very close but you would need a torch or something walking back at night...

Accommodation very spacious and overall well equipped, but it was let down by cobwebs and dust, and the furniture and fittings were quite tired. Swimming pool lovely, but changing facilities less than adequate. At this price, it hardly justifies its advertised 4 star rating.

We enjoyed our stay near Abingdon, as Kingfisher Barn is in a lovely location, and walking into Abingdon and down to the river is very easy. We stayed in both the B&B rooms and Stable Cottage. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped and clean; however, the bathrooms would benefit from an update and the wheel-in shower area for the member of...

Great place to stay, so convenient for Abingdon, a flat easy walk. The rooms were well equipped, the bed was comfortable, gave me the best nights sleep I'd had all week. The staff were all lovely really kind and helpful, although a little expensive I would certainly stay again, and would feel safe if I was on my own.
