We recently visited the Cotswolds for the first time and we were delighted to have been recommended to the Kings Head Inn at Bledington. It acceded our greatest expectations. Not only was the environment totally in tune with the Cotswolds but the rooms with en suites were of the high standard that we would have expected. The dinners and breakfasts...

My husband and I spent two nights here and enjoyed our visit. The Inn has a lovely courtyard area where we enjoyed wine in the afternoon after walking in the countryside during the day. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. We also had breakfast and dinner here during our stay. There were a number of choice for breakfast...

We stayed at the Kings head about 2 years ago for a family get together of 6 adults. Our three rooms were great and all of a good standard. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and had good service and good food. Today 4 of us were in nearby Cheltenham and decided to have lunch before we went...

My friends from Australia & I spent 3 nights here while visiting the area. The staff were helpful & welcoming. The food was imaginative and we dined here on 2 evenings. The only slight complaint I have is that at breakfast the electric toaster was a little slow! The dining room's atmosphere was intimate & warm. The bedrooms were comfortable...

Entering the picturesque building in search of food after a long day walking, we were struck by the pleasant atmosphere inside. Service was attentive, we were welcomed and shown a table, for which wedges were quickly brought in order to stabilise it on the uneven stone floor. As we chose what to eat, we were warned that the portions of...

We were recommended by a local on horseback and were not disappointed. Quaint old cider house with buckets of atmosphere. 4 of us all had the prawn and lobster risotto with a lovely bottle of AV Pinot Grigio. Absolutely beautiful. Will recommend and come back again. Beautiful area. Definate value for money.

This is a lovely quaint old inn in a delightful location. The restaurant and bar have a lovely atmosphere and the outside seating in the garden area is excellent. The food is absolutely superb- I have been lucky enough to eat in quite a few very highly rated establishment but this is a match for pretty well any of them....

What a gem of a place. From the setting in the village, the courtyard, our room, the food and the staff, what a find. We especially liked the feather pillows, great choice of breakfast options, daily aperitif menu, sitting outside as dusk fell having dinner and the young, happy staff for whom nothing was too much bother. Great to have...

Stayed with a group of friends over the week-end. Staff very friendly an helpful. Accommodation great - water could have been a bit hotter in courtyard rooms. Food locally sourced and superbly cooked. Graet place.

My wife and I stayed here for two days and while the room was plain, it was quite decent. The Inn itself was full of charm with a very nice pub and restaurant serving excellent food and spirits. The meals were excellent and the service top notch.
