Stayed here for one night. Very clean, cosy, comfortable room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and helpful. The breakfast.........amazing full English, one of the best I've had. An extremely good value hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed at the bell last week for a few nights, we had such a lovely stay in this old hotel , we had a family room which was really big and freshly decorated , situated at the front of the hotel so we could look out the window watching the world go by, really nice staff that are happy to...

We were booked in for the weekend at another pub in the village, and arrived to find it deserted and locked up. We went to the Bell to see if they had any rooms, and they did but just for the Friday night as they were fully booked for the Saturday. They offered to find us local accommodation for the...

4 of us had a meal here, on Friday evening 5 th August, the chips served with two of the meals were awfull, greasy and dark brown, obviously been warmed up. My husband paid an extra £1 to substitute the chips with a jacket potato, which had obviously been over cooked in the microwave, and was really mushy! I had...

Getting to the room from Reception was up quite a few very wide steep stairs with a Fire door at the top of the steps which was quite hard to...

This area is obviously not used often - the bar was thick with dust, crumbs on the table, and uncleared glasses and coffee cups - at the first...

I had a meal here this week wich consisted of the traditional Banger and Mash. It turned nice and hot but swamped with peas. Far too many for an even balance. The Mashed Potato was lumpy and not creamy at all. Sausages were very good and had a great taste. Only average I am afraid
