We had booked double rooms for two nights as two couples. My wife and I were allocated Room 3, which we found very pleasing. It was large, had recently been refurbished and featured two big windows overlooking Market Place, with good views of the 17th century Market Hall, the medieval All Saints Church and the townsfolk bustling about below us....

The hotel room may need a little freshening up decor wise though everything else was great. The staff are very helpful & kindly. Beer was good & the people I was with enjoyed the bar food. The hotel is a very old building steeped in history & has uneven floors in the bedroom which just added to the quirkiness of...

Could not fault the basics, The bed and The breakfast both were very good but the room especially the shower was not good, painted tiles that were peeling off and the extract fan not working properly. The other thing that was very annoying was the TV this was very difficult to operate with two remote controls.

Stayed 2 nights for business. Very friendly hosts with a warm welcome. Room was fine. Shower was a bit hard to handle but water was hot and pressure high. Breakfast was excellent - I had the full English and it nearly defeated me. Had dinner in the bar... simple fare but the steak pie was full of tender beef. Can't...

Parking for about 4 to 5 cars. Local parking lot a short walk away. This Hotel is an old Coaching hotel, from...

We needed a cost effective stay over as we needed to be in Brize Norton very early, this hotel was booked last minute without much thought other than the price. We had 2 rooms for our family, although the they do provide family rooms too. The hotel rooms have been partly refurbished (ie some have been modernised). But those that...

we spent a night there the other day, its in the centre of the small town and its an ancient building that is currently being renovated. our room was spotless, and very spacious, we were most surprised about how much room we had and well appointed. we were met by friendly staff who showed us to our room and directed...

Lovely place, only stayed the one night. Only criticism is no sauce on the table for breakfast and wasn't offered any, would've liked more tea and toast also. Good value for money, would happily stay there again

Mark and Alison are fantastic hosts who were very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. The building has lots of character and perfectly placed to enjoy Faringdon. My final comment is not related to the Bell Hotel, but if you are ever in Faringdon make sure you get over to the Volunteer and have a game of Aunt Sally!
