We booked the hotel as a party of six, due to work we had in the neighbouring village of Bledington. Due to it being the Cheltenham Festival the hotel was very busy and lively. In saying that nothing was too much trouble for the staff who helped sort out our booking with ease, advised us of the live music and...

Saturday lunch time in the Bar - tables full. Booking is advised. My duck spring rolls with rocket, radish and chilli dressing was really good and the lambs liver and bacon stunning. Everyone in our party were impressed with the food and service.

The food here was really good. Wholesome and varied menu with lots of nice flavours and high quality produce. Breakfast was also fresh and pretty good too - as was the coffee. Service was nice and quick. The rooms were clean and 'homely' but felt a bit tired in places - especially the bathrooms. The shower was quite disappointing due...

We went back to the hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary having stayed here many times in the intervening years. The welcome was as warm as ever and the setting is wonderful. The night we chose to have our celebratory meal in the restaurant was the day the storm Doris blew in and caused a blackout in the whole...

I was asked to arrange a lunch for our members who come from all parts of The Cotswolds, we are mostly a mature bunch and quite discerning. A meeting was arranged with the proprietor, Maria, we were dealt with efficiency and all points raised were satisfactorily dealt with, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thereafter communications were crisp and...

Really lovely hotel with very friendly owners and staff. Very welcoming, very helpful and very comfortable rooms. The food, however, was fantastic. Both breakfast and dinner were of a very high quality - far better than other 5* hotels in the area. Well worth staying here.

We had a lovely weekend at a real country hotel, the Mill House at Kingham. First visited 25 years ago and it has been substantially improved. Rooms upgraded, a lovely friendly bar and excellent food. All the staff, and the owners, are very helpful and efficient. Will return again later in the year.

We were visiting a sofa maker in Kingham, and following our visit, they recommended that we have lunch at the Mill House. Everything was good, the selection on the daily menu, the value offered, the attitude of the staff, the presentation and quality of the food. Well done. Shame it was raining! We did not stay overnight.

Our first stay at the Mill House Hotel in Kingham, was in May 2016. We were looking for somewhere to stay in the Cotswold with our friends from South Wales and their little Cavalier King Charles Louie. (Our friends visited again in June) The four of us then went back early December for a pre Christmas break. Our friends then...
