Considering I spent £195 per night and the minimum stay is two nights, I spent a lot of money for the weekend. Also extended into their restaurant so all in I spent over £500. While the room was nice, I just didn't feel like the service equated to then £££ I had spent there. On arrival there was no where...

I visited with my family for spring break, we found this pub to be the warmest and friendliest with the absolute freshest and most delicious food! The place is beautiful with fires lit and that perfect country pub atmosphere. I would attribute a lot of the success to the passion of the owner, Emily. She actually waited on us. We...

Lovely people, amazing food, great bedroom! The Rabbit scotch egg is a must, the eggs benedict for breakfast simply sublime! Would highly recommend this place, the team were really helpful and engaging; the only sadness was that we didn't experience some of Emily Watkins' cooking first hand but her brigade of chefs were great in her absence!

Just back from a really lovely stay for two nights. Cosy, comfortable bedroom(room 1) friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfasts, probably the best eggs Benedict I have ever had and the drop scones were a lovely unexpected treat. Thank you, we look forward to returning in the future.

Having read the reviews of The Kingham Plough and also having enjoyed some very fine food in the UK we were looking forward to a gastro pub that takes it up a notch (or two). The restaurant did not let us down. Excellent wines by the glass, great recommendations from staff. The food was excellent. Pheasant terrine and pumpkin dumplings...

A pleasant B&B in this small Cotswold village, the staff were all friendly and helpful and there is a lovely pub to relax in as well. Our room was tidy and up together, although there was nothing particularly of note. The usual tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as some homemade biscuits in a Kilner jar which...

Chanced an experimental night here with our very old dog as before we inherited her over 2 years ago we frequently went to stay for a few nights in old country inns all over the UK.Our (now incorrect) assumption of "dog friendly" rooms was a basic room in a hotel/inn/pub we wouldn't have looked at in the first place. We...

Leisurely lunch with good food, no hurry. Yummy doughnuts for pud. Partridge and venison + veggie option on the menu. Only down side was the kale which was great was extra and very small portion. Veg is not expensive to bring to the table so why such a small amount.

Visited on a friend's recommendation, while on a Saturday afternoon drive around the Cotswolds and was pleasantly impressed by this award-winning pub. We were welcomed by friendly, relaxed staff who were attentive during our visit but not intrusive. The atmosphere was delightfully calm and it wasn't a forced 'country pub' vibe. It looks like it accommodate lots of people for...

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time here and enjoyed our homemade relish! I am sorry the fires weren't built up quite enough for such cold weather. We will take note and make sure they are roaring while it's so chilly outside. We hope to see you again soon....
