The purpose of my stay is I'm the GM of a business that has its head office in Wallingford but I live in East Yorkshire. I need to be there most weeks for two sometimes three days hence requiring regular accommodation. There will also be times when I need extra rooms as guests and or colleagues need accommodation. Therefore my...

I play golf here sometimes and always wanted to try to stay so took my wife for one night away. Hotel itself and facilities are good. Food was good. I know golf course is excellent. But the staff wasn't friendly, professional. The lady came in to our room by mistake and no apologies. At check out our dinner wasn't included...

Living in Oxfordshire, I was asked to find a venue that could cater for my mother's 90th birthday lunch, as family were traveling from north and south. I chose the Oxfordshire having twice stayed and really enjoyed it, one on a brilliant Sunday night saver rate. I looked at lots of other venues, but was so pleased to have chosen...

This was the third time we had stayed atThe Oxfordshire. We took advantage of an Outlet Village shopping break so got an excellent rate for our stay which made it much more affordable. Huge comfortable bed, great food and a superb location make this hotel an oasis of relaxation and tranquillity.

Not visited this hotel for over a year, but pleased to say still a very pleasant stay. Swimming pool etc very good , room we had looked to be refurbished, although did not like the pillows, feathers aren't always comfortable. Food in restaurant first class, well presented hot and very tasty. Superb glass of Shiraz. Usual breakfast choices, waiters very...

The hotel is 'not quite Oxford, not quite Bicester but somewhere in between, so be prepared to pay for taxis or designate a driver if you intend on going out from the hotel. The hotel itself is well presented and most importantly, quiet. The room I had was an Executive Double. The room was clean and tidy but looking closer...

We had a really lovely stay and the staff were all excellent. The facilities are all excellent and the only thing that needs improving is the clinical lighting in the Sakura Restaurant . The gym is very good and the golf course is challenging

Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with us. The lighting in the Sakura is on a dimming switch, I am sorry if this was not used by the team on the night you dined. I have asked the team to ensure this happens for future guests. Best Wishes Carl

Brilliant stay. Beautiful room. Fantastic breakfast. We came as a group where myself and my friend went on a shopping spree (10% off through the hotel which was fantastic) The Guys had golf and they had an awesome day top class golf course. Spa has pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna - were all good but the place was just...
