My husband and I had dined at the Crazy Bear restaurant in London and enjoyed both the food and the setting. We were looking forward to seeing how this would translate to a hotel and were very much looking forward to our stay, particularly having parted with a princely sum of money. The hotel itself is not to be found...

My husband bought me a voucher direct from crazy bear (not Groupon) Sunday lunch for 3 people!!! This was not cheap!! Unfortunately after our move it was misplaced. Eventually found and noted it had expired. Called crazy bear and was told that this shouldn't be a problem and I must call back later to speak to a manager. Called back...

Booked a package through Secret Escapes which included accommodation for 1 night with continental breakfast and a tasting menu dinner in the restaurant. Fantastic food and plenty of choice at breakfast but the accommodation was poor. Probably should have booked an upgrade but the standard room was hardly classed as a double. Only 1 chair and not a drawer to...

Stayed in a suite and was AMAZING. Huge double bath that fills from the celling. Great food in evening with huge cocktail list. I would highly recommend eating in the English restaurant and also the house champagne is very nice and good value for money.

Who has a double decker bus for a reception area? This place! And it's fab! All decked out in leather & crushed velvet, very quirky. Welcoming staff in the bus & the restaurant/hotel. All rooms are very sexy in different ways - we prefer the black/red/silver rooms but they have other individual rooms in more elegant mint greens & golds....

This place is awful. Over priced and tired. I had wrote a huge review but it didn't save so will summarise. Use you hard saved money elsewhere. For similar money you can stay at Raymond blancs place down the road please do this to avoid disappointment. I will never stay or recommend crazy bear to anyone! Waste of money!!

We stayed here on Wednesday 28th Sept with a Groupon deal as a treat to celebrate 5 years together. First impressions on arrival were great, checking in on a red bus with a glass of champagne was a bit different! We were shown to our lovely superior room (number 9) which was gorgeous with velvet walls and a large copper...

Very disappointed with the size of the room at £200 per night. More like a single room than a double (stay clear of room 13 - Romeo and Juliet named) No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also the room was located above the bar so very noisy and smoke would drift in to the room from the...

Take as read the earlier concerned comments on reception etc. No need to repeat. We booked, through the ubiquitous Secret Escapes, a superior room with an infinity bath (304) for a special anniversary and to celebrate having my cast off after six months in a wheelchair and crutches following surgery for a very a badly broken leg.....(there is a point...

Unfortunately we arrived on a dull wet day and so didn't investigate our surroundings. Instead we were shown to our accommodation which was down the end of lane on a tricky bend traffic-wise.We had a premium room using a groupon voucher and to be fair we had been told we would be stationed away from the hotel and expected the...
