This really is a delightful place to explore and Mynd House is a superb place for your base - a very well run establishment with Maurice and Fran at the helm. On arrival, the welcome was genuinely warm and friendly (and much appreciated) and the food at breakfast next morning was equally enjoyable and plentiful. The room was well-equipped and...

Just spent a couple of nights at the excellent Mynd House. A lovely property with period features in a lovely spot with beautiful views of the Shropshire Hills. Fran & Maurice have thought of everything in this wonderful guest accommodation. I was upgraded from the single room that I had booked to a wonderful spacious double with every comfort provided...

An excellent guest house with very good facilities and a first rate breakfast. Highly recommended. Fran and Maurice were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble and their local knowledge was invaluable.

We stayed at Mynd House for three nights at the start of October for my birthday celebrations. The hosts are very welcoming, tea and cake offered and gratefully received on arrival. We stayed in Stretton which is located on the top floor, the room was well equipped and most comfortable. As so many others have pointed out the fresh milk...

We spent 2 nights here in a very spacious and comfortable room. The view out of the window was good. The facilities were good although the shower could be a bit temperamental, however the spa bath more than made up for this. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Lovely stay with first rate service, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We stayed in the Caradoc room which was well equipped with a fantastic, large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was impeccable. Will definitely book here again when returning to the area.

My husband and I spent two nights in the Hazler Suite at Mynd House in October on our first trip to Shropshire. We received a warm welcome from Fran and Maurice who very kindly helped us upstairs with our luggage. The room was very clean with lots of character and had its own sitting area so we could really make...

What a lovely guest house for our short notice get away. We wanted to visit Ludlow and walk in Carding Mill Valley and Mynd House was a perfect choice to base ourselves at. Fran and Maurice were perfect hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Well worth a visit.

I have had the pleasure of several short stay visits to the Mynd House over the past five or six years. This is a good location for both cycling and walking with vast areas of quiet lanes and superb countryside in all directions. It's hilly though and if you push into Wales, the roads are very testing but a worthy...
