We stayed in The Fox again and found it as good as the first time. In our review last time we mentioned the need for a little refurbishment, this had been done in the room we stayed in this time and it was to a good standard. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful and I...

We stayed at this beautiful B and b. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing! they were very accommodating too, my girlfriend wasn't feeling too great after dinner and even let us take a pudding up to the room! The location was brilliant, a nice small village away from the City.

Lovely 2nd stay at The Fox, really enjoyed it! Warm and cosy quirky room 1. Floor and walls slope every which way....but we didn't expect anything less from an inn of such great age! Fab service and brekkie! Whatever you want cooked freshly to order, and well worth eating in. Shropshire is such a lovely county, and Much Wenlock a...

Friendly and helpful staff, good beer, good food and the facility to cater for veggies & wheat intolerance plus quirky rooms add up to a great place to stay. I needed to leave before the normal breakfast times which was no problem & I got an excellent Full English early. Will stay a again.

We have visited the Fox on several occasions to eat both in the bar and the restaurant. There is a good choice of food at very reasonable prices, with several draft beers and a good wine list. Friendly and efficient service.

I can only say positive things about this great place. The building itself has been sensitively renovated, keeping many original features, although if you look at the walls too long it's easy to think you have drunk too much gin! The room we stayed in was good, warm and cosy with a comfortable bed. Sarah and her staff are friendly...

Having recovered from an interesting stay in Llandudno we were glad to see good reviews for this place. With only 7 rooms, it wasn't going to too busy and we were shown to our room which was cosy with good facilities. The food is freshly made and we loved breakfast and dinner last night. Completely recommend the pork burger. Much...

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay and will definitely be returning. A welcome warmer than the roaring log fires. Attentive staff genuine in their desire to make your stay a good one. A cooked breakfast that really sets you up for the day. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable with...
