Settled in the valleys to the west of Oswestry, this hotel is a wee gem. The food is excellent with the menu changing every day. Very comfortable both for the bedrooms (with fairly high tech bathroom) or the communal rooms. We went in December with roaring fires every afternoon. Catered well for celiacs too.

We went on a midweek pamper break which included three nights break in an upgrade room (The Rose Room) which was very comfortable with three breakfasts and three 4 course dinners. The chef should...

We booked a two-night break at he end of October to celebrate our (41st) wedding anniversary and brought along our little dog who has been with us for thirteen of those years! On arrival a welcome of afternoon tea. Each of the reception rooms wrap you in a home from home country house feel. All around the Hotel are items of decor well chosen, interesting and seem to fit in. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with a view over the well kept garden.A well appointed bathroom. An ideal walking base to explore...

My wife and I take a lot of short breaks through the year, and we stay at different types of hotels. Many are comparable with this establishment. However our views may be harsher than most but we try to make valued judgements on a consistent scale. BOOKING We received an autumn offer for our stay. We telephoned through our booking...
