We loved our stay we wished it was longer… why ? We had a warm welcome to a beautiful room perfectly clean with big bath fluffy towels and lovely toiletries . Wonderful hospitality tray with fresh milk and homemade biscuits. Great location and the best breakfast we have ever had. Can’t wait to return ❤️

Wow what can I say…they have everything fine tuned to perfection!
We were greeted at our car on arrival and Sebastian carried our bags to reception where we were greeted by his wife who was as friendly and welcoming as Sebastian. We were given our room key and asked our preferred breakfast time. Then shown to our room. The room was immaculate and beautifully done. We were given fresh milk and home made shortbread for the use of tea/coffee in our room. The breakfast was delicious and worthy of a five star Michelin rating! We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful boutique hotel with a rustic feel. The owners couldn’t do enough to help, with nice touches such as home made shortbread sent to your room. Felt much more expensive than it was. Would definitely recommend. Just be careful to park in the correct car park and not the adjacent one, as you may become trapped there.

Fabulous overnight stay in Oswestry. Great central location and wonderful friendly host. They room was extremely comfortable with a espresso machine, jug of water, make up flannel and lovely fluffy towels. Bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had - real freshly squeezed OJ and wonderful bread, granola and full English !

We spent just one night mid-week in the Queen room at Sebastian's, but it was a lovely bit of luxury and indulgence for the sake of a couple of days off work! The hosts are welcoming, friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Our room was large, with a 4 poster bed and exposed beams - very tastefully decorated and characterful. After a hard afternoon shopping, we ordered a bloody mary each in our room - Mark brought it up and it was perfectly mixed...excellent! We then ate out at Ambers (brilliant pizza) - although Oswestry has plenty of good places to eat within a short walk's distance from the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at Sebastians.... although if you have mobility issues the Queen room is probably not the best one for you, as it is on two levels with steepish stairs. I would contact the hosts to discuss which of their rooms will meet your needs best...but do go!

We spent one month in the UK and this was the standout stay in our trip. The hosts Mark and Michelle have a lot of experience in the hospitality industry and it shows. We had a court yard room, which had a king sized bed and a fairly big room. The bathroom was well set up. Breakfast was available starting at 0730, which was great. They go the extra distance by offering to do a clothes wash and the next morning Mark drove us 10 minutes to the train station to continue our trip. There was a nice courtyard to sit in and relax. Great place to stay.

This hotel speaks of care, lovingly maintained, pride in the high quality of service and amenities. Parking space in the rear, pin-drop quiet sleeping at night, extremely clean, delicious breakfast and choices, home baked bread and cookies. You can see the owners take pride in their beautiful place. So well located in the center of town, I would definitely love to stay here again. I felt spoiled.

I’ve stayed at Sebastian’s a few times now for work. It is owned and run by a lovely couple who really make an effort to make you feel welcome. Such as fresh milk and a home made biscuit on arrival and left in your room each day. The restaurant isn’t open on weekday evenings, but the breakfast they offer is fantastic. Lots of little details that really make a difference.
The facilities are great, each room is unique and very comfortable, it’s like home from home. I will definitely stay here again.

A lovely well appointed room which was spotlessly clean, following a warm, friendly welcome was just what I needed after a long drive to Oswestry. The property has a beautiful courtyard which I would imagine is delightful in the warmer months. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. A really nice change to staying in a corporate chain hotel. I was slightly concerned that the central location might be a bit noisy given I am a light sleeper, but I didn’t hear any traffic noise. The only minor downside was the wifi signal was a little weak but otherwise everything was perfect.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was perfect, had everything we needed. Michelle is very attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread. Fresh milk for our room and the yummy homemade shortbread was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend for a weekend break.
