We have stayed here for the last 3 years when it belonged to the previous owners, Roland & Thelma. However it has now been taken over by new owners. Even though they are very nice our stay was not as good as it used to be. There was a lot of dust underneath the bed and didn't look like it... More

Management response:

Hi Steve Sorry to see this review , we use all the same produce as Roland did and he even taught me how to cook the breakfast, all our eggs come from are very own chickens. Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay . More

I was a lady on my own stoping here on my way to North Devon and I decided it was a good place to stay in order for me to get some retail therapy at nearby Street. I had a single room which was basic but very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in a good shower. The breakfast was to... More

This bed and breakfast is in a rural setting about 6 miles from Glastonbury. Lovely hosts, fantastic cooked breakfasts, and homely accomodation. We are having a 3 night stay in a twin bed apartment, which has a bedroom, lounge and kitchen..and most importantly is dog-friendly. There is a large field in which to exercise dogs, or sunbathe, as we have... More

We loved Poldon Vale. As soon as we arrived we were met by two children who insisted that they show us the chickens. We were also introduced to the cats. The children were great and it was quite a unique welcome. At the same time we were introduced to the huge field that is great for walking the dog. The... More

We stayed for one night in October for bed & breakfast. The room was large, comfortable and clean with a very roomy shower room. Breakfast most enjoyable. The place was very dog friendly, providing towels, poo bags and disposal bin, water bowls and even facilities to clean muddy paws. The owners were friendly and very helpful we will certainly stay...
