The hotel itself looks fine but the extractor fans run at the back of the hotel all night. There is no aircon and the filter on the window was filthy. So we had to open the window as it was too hot and had the smell and noise from the fans making it hard to sleep. The staff were all... More

Was ok but very old and needs an update!! Having to use keys instead of cards becomes and issue if sharing with a team member! Staff lovely and welcoming, view was not great an very very hot during the summer months!!

We stopped here for one night to split our journey up. It was cheap, tatty and a stuffy hot room even with a fan. Bathroom had daddy long legs in it. The beds clearly don't get moved for vacuuming. Overall a horrible stay. Would never stay again, Not even if it was free! Stay well clear of this hotel !

Stayed over en route down to Plymouth to get the ferry; late night arrival was painless and the room was clean and comfortable (albeit a little basic - but reasonable at the price). The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable and we went on our way well rested. The building itself is very dated being above a circa... More

Very old fashioned, extremely unclean, rooms to hot to sleep in and beds very uncomfortable. The hotel and services in general are a disgrace! Thank goodness we only stayed one night to break the journey!!!
