The place is very nice, far from the camping you usually have in mind. Lots of space, lots green, animals to visit ... The hosts were very nice with us and so helpful, especially as we were there out of peak period. I highly recommand...More

Hello, I have booked a WigWam. First experience glamping, and never done anything of the sort - Only recently I have caught an 'adventurous bug'. I'm quite excited but rather worried about not having a car. I put Cobbs Cross farm into google maps and it came up with a 10 minute walk from the nearest busstop, which I was more than pleased with. But looking further into the reviews, I'm worried that we need a car to get from the farm to the Wigwam? Is it possible to get there without one? Happy to take a taxi, but is this possible due to the remote area? Neither my partner nor I drive, so I hope I haven't made a mistake in booking this place. I did try to call them a number of times but always get answer machine.

Hi, we've booked a few days here over the Easter break. The reviews sounds great and it's seems the perfect place to go and explore the beautiful countryside. I'm just a bit worried after looking at a few pictures as there seems to be a lot of dogs off lead. Is this the case round the hole site or is it only in designated areas. I only ask this as I have a very friendly husky that loves other dogs and people but he greets like a husky does hug the other dog by jumping up at them. He isn't being dominant it's a typical husky trait but some dogs get nasty towards this and he ends up getting bitten whilst he just wants to be friends, this is why we always keep him in a lead. Obviously my dogs safety is in my best interests and I really don't want him hurt. Have I made a mistake booking this site or is there designated areas for off lead.

We stayed in a wigwam with our two and a half year old. He slept in a travel cot, which did fit, and we could get in and out of bed/the wigwam. Hope that helps.
