Streamcombe is certainly off the beaten track although only a couple of miles from Dulverton which is the easiest way to find it. Idyllic valley setting for more of a small holding than farm now. Accommodation is in a small barn conversion and is tastefully modernised without losing the character and is both very clean and comfortable. It is linked... More

We had such a lovely stay in the Shepherd's Hut at Streamcombe Farm. It was just what we were looking for: calm and peaceful summer days in the countryside, close to wildlife and nature and with beautiful walks around Exmoor. You can access public footpaths from Streamcombe Farm so our car was not used once the four days we spent... More

Secluded spot, fantastic views, excellent facilities in rooms, very quiet, just my cup of tea. I may go back & try out the cookery courses. Best to get to it from Dulverton going up Andrews Hill, you could miss the turning coming the other way.

We were a party of twenty two and we used the B&B, the shepherd's hut as well as camping. From the minute we arrived we were looked after handsomely. The owners, Ian and Karen were so helpful, kind and hospitable. Nothing was too much for them and they really seemed to enjoy us as well as looking after us. Our... More

My partner and I stayed at Streamcombe Farm over the weekend when I took part in the Ironman 70.3. We had a brilliant stay. Our room and bathroom were newly refurbished to a very good standard, with a little balcony merging into the rainforest behind. The location is in a little hollow with sheep grazing on the slope opposite, wild... More

We stayed here at the last minute as a stop on the way back to the midlands from Cornwall. We were met with a friendly welcome and our room was gorgeous! All the character features gave a great wholesome atmosphere with a touch of luxury thrown in to make it a thoroughly lovely stay. Breakfast was a delight also, great... More

At the end of a well maintained country track is the delightful Streamcombe Farm B&B, which if you follow the simple instructions very kindly provided by Karen and Ian is very easy to find. Lit by the afternoon sun it's in such a sheltered spot, so much so that afternoon tea in the garden amongst the 'Guinea Foul' was a... More

Whilst surfing the net to find somewhere to stay near Dunster we found this hidden gem on the website Canopy & Stars. We spent 2 nights glamping with our puppy in a cute farmers hut with a snug double bed with huge feather duvet and a wood burner that kept us very cosy when lit. With hot shower and toilet... More

We had a weekend here whilst I was attending a one day tasting and techniques cookery course. There are 3 letting bedrooms in a stable annexe, we had the ground floor room which was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is beautiful. The setting is idyllic, with deer and various wild animals wandering about. The cookery course was brilliant and... More
