Me My wife and 2 young children stayed there for 2 nights as we was visiting longlete. Which is only ten mins away. 2 min walk down the road is a lovely pub/ restaurant where we had a lovely meal. The lighthouse is great the staff are very polite and the building itself is beautiful with beams and huge fireplaces....

My partner and I stayed here as we were visiting Longleat. Upon arrival, the staff were lovely and showed us around our room. There was a cute folder provided which tells you about the hotel, housekeeping policies and even local restaurant reviews - a very nice touch if you're not from around the area. The actual hotel room was lovely...

The rooms and the common areas are very nice - clean, beautifully furnished, and the cafe area has great views on countryside and a small pond. The staff is courteous, the breakfast very nice. The walls however are really thin - I could hear the guy next door snoring during the night, and I could hear people talking very clearly...

We stayed December 28th 2016 as a little treat for our boys 14,12 and 2 and they absolutely loved it. We had room 7 with a very large double and an extra room with 2 single beds. We used a travel cot for our wedding year old and there was enough room without feeling cramped. The walk around the grounds/lake...

Stayed overnight for a longleat break, really beautiful place, we had the family suite with two separate bedrooms joined with a bathroom, it was perfect. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the lovely grounds, breakfast was great and service was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here as a family of 3 generations with 2 bedrooms in a shared bathroom suite to go to Longleat Festival of Lights, 10 minutes drive away. Perfect for us, lovely warm clean rooms, staff and breakfast were exceptional and would return. We were there for the day trips so this place is a perfect relax and sleep place...

What a beautiful experience it was staying at the Light House. The care and attention to detail that went into making my stay a wonderful experience was amazing to see. Little touches in my bedroom that really meant people had put so much care and nurture into my stay. It was all so clean, warm, full of nice touches (fresh...

I can't fault almost everything about this place, a warm welcome, lovely room, fab shower, cosy atmosphere throughout and excellent breakfast. The location and the grounds are so peaceful and tranquil. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about my sleep. After returning from a nice meal at 'The Fox' pub a minutes walk away, we could hear almost word for...

A friend had a wedding nearby so The Lighthouse was the perfect location. We arrived late to a very welcoming member of staff who showed us to our room, which was beautiful, and provided us with all the necessary information. Breakfast in the cafe was lovely, again the staff being fantastic, and the lounge area was a great location to...

Picked this hotel due to its closeness to Longleat. Perfect all round - the only complaint would be noise coming from other rooms, I'm a light sleeper, so I'm used to it. But everything else made up for it - comfy bed, clean bathroom, yummy breakfast... list goes on. Went for a meal at The Fox down the road, thoroughly...
