We chose this place as hubby was diving nearby and we were not disappointed. Having two young children with us the family suite we stayed in worked very well. Our toddler loved the box of toys in the lounge and exploring the surrounding grounds. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were excellent.

Just traveling back after a two night stay at The Lighthouse. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very pleasant and comfortable. Small kitchen next to our room which was a lovely bonus for us. Breakfast was really lovely with great service. Would highly recommend if you want to explore Bath and Longleat.

Thank you very much for your review. Yes, the small kitchen is handy, especially if guests have small children. We don't advertise it on the website as it is quite small and could not be used by everyone at the same time (!) but it is great for families and those who are staying for a longer time.

We stayed here over night for a longleat trip, the grounds are absolutely stunning, wish we had time to take a walk around but enjoyed our view very much! The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable, we were left towels, shampoo, conditioner etc and had a lovely breakfast in the morning, perfect for me and the children but my husband...

Thank you very much for your review. There are some good points for us to action, especially being able to find your way in the dark - nighttime adventures are not part of the package we promise!

Our second time here- this time with the kids - and another great stay! Perfect holiday place for a family. We had a spacious family room and even access to a kitchen! The weather was gorgeous so we took walks around the vast land and also played tennis on the grass using the equipment the hotel provided. Also a lovely...

I stayed here in a large group for a night. The staff were very welcoming and I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast and coffee was great in the cafe, and the Fox down the road was great for dinner.

We stayed at the Lighthouse the night before my son's wedding together with friends and family. We found our stay to be extremely comfortable and relaxing. The venue is situated in a very scenic spot with lovely grounds. The on site cafe is also very good. I would certainly recommend staying at the Lighthouse when visiting the area.

Friendly staff. Super setting. So pleased I had a look round Frome - its a charming town. The Garden Cafe and shop - a great find and Catherine St. shops just be aware that being its the Mendips some of the hobbled streets are steep!

Thank you for your review. Yes, it is worth telling others that Frome is quite hilly to walk around, especially as many of the great boutiques and quirky shops are up Catherine Hill!

I stayed here with my partner in December for our anniversary for 2 nights. We were greeted by someone who showed us to our room and where to go for breakfast. The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean, with a massive bed (and tiny TV). There are signs saying no alcohol allowed in the room - but there is a...
