We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. The location is great for walking and visiting nearby sites of interest. The relaxed feel and excellent meals made for a terrific break. We will come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coombs House. We stayed one night as we moved to the wedding venue on the Saturday. This hotel was much better than the wedding venue for hospitality. The rooms are lovely, the scenery beautiful. The food was excellent and staff were lovely. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again

We enjoyed our stay at Combe House Hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with plenty of parking. The grounds are pretty. The hotel is a very old building and very quaint but it has been sympathetically modernised to give modern convenience without losing character. Our room (No. 2) was very comfortable albeit that the floor slopes...

The hotel and the team are simply fantastic. The food is divine and the setting idyllic. There are nearby trails for walking, the coast is a stones throw away (If you have a good arm) and it's Somerset so it is amazing.

A fantastic hotel, very friendly staff, excellent rooms and the meals were as good as Michelin. I would recommend the hotel to all, it is an ideal place for family functions, quiet weekend break or whatever reason I can guarantee you'll come away relaxed and refreshed

Recently spent three nights here as part of a Travelzoo deal. Whilst the hotel was generally cosy and inviting, unfortunately the room did not live up to my wife's expectations. Whereas I would not wish the management to be accused of misrepresentation, the room we were allocated bore no resemblance to what was advertised or indeed to any of the...

Dear Philip H, thank you for your review and sorry to read that your wife had been fobbed off with a 'hoary walkers room'. Combe House is a small 17 bedroom hotel with the main building dating 200 years old. All the rooms have different sizes hence different classifications and you are correct that the rooms offered on the heavily...

Stayed for a second visit last weekend for two nights and again much enjoyed our time at Combe House. We ate dinner both evenings, the meals were delicious, the steak especially, then had the pork the next night. Desserts too, and the wine, all delicious, we don't often manage a whole bottle between us but we could this time! Warm...

Spent one night here on bed, breakfast & dinner basis. The plan was to find somewhere relaxing & quiet & Combe House fitted the bill well. Parking is fine. It is in a secluded setting with pretty gardens in which you can sit & enjoy a nice (but expensive!) coffee or maybe a beer. Could have done with a few...

Combe House organised supper, with music provided by guitarist Andrias Guerin; we booked a table an invited some of our friends. It was such a fun, relaxed evening, with the owners and staff adding to a great evening in the marquee. I can't have gluten, so they prepared a special meal for me and kept my food separate from the...
