This Travelodge is very handy for River Cottage, especially if you're going by car. Michaela checked us in and was very friendly and pleasant. It's so peaceful despite the nearby roads. We stayed in room 117 in February and opened the curtains at 8am and saw two bunnies and six magpies - a lovely countryside stay.

Very low value. The room had no shower, just an incredibly slippery bathtub with a shower adjustment that was almost worse than nothing. Water pressure was non-existent, like standing in drizzle, it took an excruciatingly long time simply to rinse the shampoo out of my hair and was certainly not a refreshing experience. The bath tub and floor were very...

Staff very friendly and helpful, room was quiet and comfy, good experience all round! How nice to have a bath as well as a shower. Ideal location for a conference in Ilminster. Impressed by Travelodge standard.

Stayed for one Friday night there was a lot less noise than we expected to hear so that was an unexpected bonus to our stay. Staff all very helpfull and the nice gentleman on reception did not mind when I kept asking questions about the area.

This is the first time I have used a Travelodge for several years and am very pleased that they have upped their standards. The housekeeping was very good and was pleased to see they now employ mature staff instead of youngsters who appear to have very little idea how to clean. It is well located, if like us you need...

Brilliant value for money. We stayed as a family and found the Travelodge to be comfortable and our rooms were quiet. There is a Little Chef, Burger King and 24 hour service station on site to get all your essentials. We used the Little Chef and you get 20% if staying in the Travelodge. The food was excellent and large...

This is a good example the Travelodge ethos .Good clean hotel with sound basic facilities and very helpful staff.A room at the back even overlooks fields. We walked to the Stone Masons pub , half a mile for dinner , but take care crossing the road out of the hotel .

Good cheap hotel. Friendly staff too. Near a busy roundabout but ok as we stayed at the back of the hotel. No major supermarkets or shops close by so struggled to find a decent place to eat that wasn't the horrible 'litte chef' next door. Hotel was clean and safe.

I have been very impressed with my visit to this travel lodge. The staff were friendly and professional. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Super comfy bed (were do you get your pillows!). Good soundproofing between the rooms. The only down side I can think of is the very small bath, but you can't expect everything for these prices.

Thank Pxiehall
