Stayed here to celebrate my birthday whilst visiting surrounding areas like Cheddar and Wells. Arrived in our room (Room 5 / family room)only to find none of the radiators were working, so had to put on the old style storage heaters, even the towel radiator didn’t work.

Hotel is in a lovely setting, clean & comfortable albeit a little tired. The staff are fantastic - attentive & professional and the food in the restaurant and at breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean, although the layout of the hotel is warren-like with many st

My wife and I stayed on 5 December. We had, many times seen it from the M5, and promised we would stay.
I checked the reviews, so booked. The receptionist, helpfully, suggested we use junction 22, so that we came via the main road. She didn't say that this still involved several

We stayed here for three night, the rooms are very basic with only a very small shelve above the hand basin, which you could only put three items,
When we arrived the heating in our room wasn't working,so they gave us a small fan heater, and said they would get maintenance to look

Why is there no information on whether the rooms are on-suite (all or just some) ? Judging by some of the photos, some of the rooms have a walk-in shower, others appear to be a bath with shower attachment. This information should be on the 'Amenities' tab. For someone like me who has walking/climbing steps difficulties, this is very important, since a walk-in shower is almost a necessity.
I think you need to contact the hotel for an answer to your question. Before making a booking I would discuss your room choice with the hotel as there are a great number of stairs in the place - It's lovely and quaint, but its a bit like a rabbit warren with lots of up and down.

Why am I allocated the room furthest from reception e.g 220 when the car park and restaurant are empty indicating to me that the hotel is not full and this 63 yr old could have been allocated a room nearer to reception where I would not have needed to carry my two heavy cases plus suit holder on two trips of some distance?
hats something to ask the reception staff while you are at the hotel I have to say that the staff were very helpful to any and all enquieries during our stay with them

Hi We're staying here in a few weeks and would like to eat in the restaurant. Are there many vegetarian options? Thank you. Catherine
The Webbington will try and accommodate for all, don't do Vegan myself but pretty sure they do on the menu.

Thinking of breaking a journey to Cornwall with 3 children - are there 'family rooms' and are they reasonably spacious?
Dont stay here. Miserable Reception staff.... If you want your kids awake all night with Weddings/Functions etc Or to slip and fall by the pool... Then stay here... If falls below its 3*

There seems to be an alarming amount of comments on the dated decor of this hotel. All the generic replies from the management team completely avoid this issue. I'd just like to know if there are any plans to rectify this? - coming from a potential coustomer, looking to book a venue.
Hi GraceL12394 Thank you for your question. We do take all customer comments and feedback very seriously, as this does help to identify areas of our hotel that our customers feel could be improved, along with areas that they feel met and exceeded their expectations. Taking our guests comments into account I can confidently say that the Webbington Hotel has already invested in upgrading the function and event space and will be undergoing further refurbishment and improvements over the coming months that will certainly enhance the overall experience and complement the management and staffs dedicated commitment for superior customer service. Should you require any additional information please do not hesitate to contact the hotel directly via the new website. I do hope we have the pleasure to welcome you to our hotel in the future. Kind regards Guest Relations Manager Latona Leisure Group
