Comfortable room with all the facilities you'd expect. John and Elaine were most welcoming. I cannot eat gluten and so they went out of their way to acquire some gluten-free sausages which were the best I have had for years. The rest of the breakfast was great too.

This B&B was the best we visited during our stay in England. Very comfortable and very good breakfast. They definitely earned the breakfast reward! The owners are very kind and we appreciated their hospitality!

8 of us stayed 2 nights whilst walking the North Devon Coastal path. John & Elaine (owners) are very obliging and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble including transport of us to Minehead to start the walk and transport of 8 cases to B&B in Lynton at a small charge on the last day.

John and Elaine have created an extremely pleasant place to unwind. The room was very well appointed and the breakfast was first class.. More importantly, it had a very friendly atmosphere that added to the relaxing nature of the guest house.. Will definitely be returning..

We spotted this B and B in passing and were lucky to find they had vacancies. Rose Bank is a proper old fashioned B and B. However, although traditional, our room was very comfortable, freshly decorated with lots of nice finishing touches and a great en-suit bathroom. We even got a sea view. Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty...

We spent three nights at Rose Bank and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's not easy finding a B+B that can (and wants!) to accommodate 2 adults, 3 children and a dog but we found a warm welcome from John and Elaine. We had room 3, a family room on the top floor which had 2 double beds (which may have...

Just back from a Group Walking weekend in Porlock and around. Our group 'took over' the Rose Bank for 3 nights. John and Elaine were excellent hosts, entertaining us with local tales and poems and providing the most wonderful breakfasts to energise us for our daily walks. Rooms were comfortable and everything we could have wanted - particularly liked the...
