Went to Ralegh's Cross Inn with the intention of having lunch. The bar staff were fine and took my order O/K. The problem was that the length of time I waited for my simple meal of fish and chips was unacceptable so I left without...More

Ate here for lunch midweek. We enjoyed our slow cooked belly pork from the specials board. The pork was delicious and full of flavour. Seasonal vegetables were excellent ,the roast potatoes tasty but on the hard side. Very friendly staff.

There was a wedding on when we arrived so we didn't know if we'd get dinner but we did. Despite the staff being busy nothing was too much trouble and the food excellent. Would highly recommend! Lovely location and welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to going...More

We had a lovely stay here, lovely quaint room with four poster (very comfy) bed, and our evening meal was delicious (huge steaks!). The staff were very helpful and friendly. A great choice for our trip to Exmoor!

Absolutely amazed to get a response from management in response to my review dated July 2017 titled Appalling Customer Service as its more than I managed to achieve during all previous contact with the inn. Unfortunately, however this response is totally incorrect. The first time I was told that deposits are usually non-refundable was when I tried to cancel the booking. Yes a letter with a receipt was sent to me but as stated in my initial review no terms and conditions were enclosed. I agree it is a shame I had to voice this disappointment on here but having attempted several times to get a direct answer from management and not, I felt I had no other option, wouldn't you agree? I now see that if the management feel they have to lie then how can staff be expected to offer a high level of customer service. Avoid at all costs.
