So, I tend to think some people can fib a lil on their reviews. So I tend to not read them all, I wish I had.

I fully agree. Les is a major asset to the hotel who works tirelessly for guests. He is a highly capable member of staff, the last thing he deserves are such baseless and unfair comments.
Sadly, most of our staff have also been abused online at one time or another - from the manager to the back office guy!
We all have to acquire broad shoulders in the hospitality trade and take it on the chin most of the time, but there some comments that really "cross the line".
Those making such remarks should reflect on the fact that the laws of libel still apply online; posting such comments are not "just a computer game", they are offensive and hurtful. Some have still to realise the internet and real life are the same thing... not some alternative reality where someone can act boorishly and be unreasonably offensive (often to get "likes" and other puerile highly subjective rewards).
The internet are fully of entitled "keyboard warriors", sadly. Many of issues that provoke such comments are virtually easy to resolve on the spot, oh, if only they would mention it at the time! Funny thing is they rarely do so.... Make of that what you will,
Anyhow, thanks for your kind comments; Les is aware of your supportive comments and is grateful for them. And we thank you for calling out such behavior. If only everyone online had your grace and good manners!
Thanks
