I stayed at Hartnells for one night on a walking holiday. It is an ideal location for exploring the Quantock Hills. A very friendly atmosphere from the moment I stepped across the threshold. I was made most welcome and the accommodation was very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was that I stayed fro just one night...

In August our family had a very pleasant stay at Hartnell's. The historic house is gorgeous, and our accommodations were roomy, bright and clean. Hosts Sue and Tony made us feel very welcome, and tea and breakfast were delicious with locally sourced food. The B & B backs up to the village green, so it is easy to visit Williton...

I do hope that you enjoyed the rest of your trip to Wales and Holland and had a safe return home with fond memories of your visit. It was a pity that we could not have shown you more of our wonderful countryside here in Somerset... You must come again! There are more fossils to be found I am sure!...

Stayed for two nights in the family suite. Beautiful old cottage with low beams and plenty of character. Room was a pleasure and the bed comfortable. Superb breakfasts, with wide choice and homemade jams to finish. Sue and John were friendly and helpful (eg booking taxis a few days in advance of our stay). For anyone wanting somewhere to stay...
