Apartment clean and comfortable. Lovely and warm upon arrival. Kitchen very well appointed with all utensils as in directory. Bedrooms comfortable and showers good . The lounge area and settees are homely and comfortable.
Lovely location, very good accommodation, far bigger than normal hotel and easy location for travel around Staffordshire. Staff are lovely and really helpful. We have stayed here three times and will be back.
Lovely park with wonderful staff and excellent facilities. Well equipped units with modern facilities. A lovely relaxing stay with fantastic country walks and views. When we stayed the bar and restaurant were closed but there's drinks and food availoable from Reception and its a short drive into Burton for restaurants and shops
Hellish junction to get on and off the A38 Hellish junction to get on and off the busy A38 Hellish junction to get on and off the busy FAST A38 Get this the junction to get off but more particularly to rejoin the A38 is hellish.
The location, once I found it was lovely. Secluded and peaceful but with facilities. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and that was important to me as a solo traveller. The accommodation was spotless and warm. I felt comfortable and very special - it was a great break.
This is a fairly remote country house with associated cottages and cabins. There are lots of facilities on site, but unfortunately the bar and restaurant are currently closed. Also the jaccuzi is closed and you have to book a slot to use the swimming pool. This makes a stay at Wychnor rather limiting as there is nothing else within walkng distance. If you just want a retreat with very good self catering facilities, this is an excellent choice.
We stayed here over Christmas and we had a great time. The staff, facilities and accommodation are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, there were plenty of places for kids to play including crazy golf, play area and a big swimming pool. We stayed in there apartments which was greatly furnished, we literally just had to bring food and drink and everything else was provided which was great. We will definitely coming back again.
We had a most enjoyable week at Wychnor Park Country Club. Our accommodation, a chalet with wonderful views over the Trent valley and loads of wildlife to observe, was superb. There were plenty of very local countryside walks and we enjoyed days out to the National Memorial Arboretum and Lichfield.
Very nice place to stay in lovely surroundings, made to feel very welcome, would return. Lots to do in the area & should be better once they have a restaurant on site. The only downside is the leaving & joining of the A38.
Access road from the A38 was dangerous and the lane to the resort was long and narrow? Although we arrived on time the accommodation was not ready and we had to wait half an hour. There were teep steps down to the cabin and it was icy. There was no restaurant facilities on site.
