Checked in tonight to Burton Premier inn and so far so good! The two girls on the desk connie & Katie were so polite , professional & helpful, no questions were too much of an ask. The room is lovely & great value for money , also nice & clean with plenty on condiments available. Will definitely be booking again
Friendly staff Very strong smell of cannabis in corridor Woken by the tv blasting on at 6 am by it self after a late not Could then not get bk to sleep at all Central location for us to attend a wedding and breakfast was ok next door
Baring in mind they offer a guaranteed good nights sleep I got anything but that. A rock hard bed meant I didn’t fully sleep for 2 nights. No give in the mattress, I may as well have slept on The floor!
Average hotel, average location, decent value for money for what you get. Check in was quick as we didn’t arrive till 5:30ish so there wasn’t a queue so not sure if there would be one at 3pm, however since leaving I have seen that you can pay an extra £10 for earlier check in (we would have definitely taken advantage of this if we knew about it). Rooms were clean and we had a family room which was a great size, especially when travelling with a young baby. Beds were comfortable, a cot bed was provided but luckily we had brought our own as I’m not sure my baby would have enjoyed sleeping on what seemed very uncomfortable! The only problems with the room we had was there was no toilet roll (luckily we brought some of our own) and the plug was stuck in the sink hole so we had to brush our teeth in the bath (not ideal) we were visiting family in Burton and so didn’t get back till 11pm so would have been inconvenient to alert a staff member about these problems at this time as we had a very tired baby. Other than those 2 problems, the hotel stay was good and the 12pm checkout was great. Breakfast was a big disappointment, especially considering that we paid nearly £20 extra for 2 of us to have breakfast it wasn’t nearly worth that at all. We were booked in to eat at 10:30 and breakfast finished at 11, considering this, we thought they would continue to put out fresh breakfast until this time. There was hardly any cooked breakfast left, a few sausages, uncooked bacon, 2 hash browns and a few beans. No white bread out either. There was no plates so had to hunt for a member of staff as they didn’t seem to be anywhere near the breakfast area. Glasses were dirty and put upside down to dry but were put on a dirty tray. The limited breakfast I did have was good and nothing was cold. Just would have been better to have more of a choice and for the cooked breakfast to seem a bit more fresh and not like it had been sat under the lights all morning. Overall an average stay, price was good until having to pay an extra £20 for a disappointing breakfast.…
Me and my partner Stayed here for new years the hotel was exceptionally clean and we had a great nights sleep. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning again in the near future.
Travelling back from Nottingham this was a great place to stay. Comfy and clean. Will remember the place for the future. Close to amenities. Reception staff were welcoming. Always know what you are getting with Premier Inn
Booked for family visit to area, the usual high standard of PI was experienced. The food in the Beefeater next door was acceptable and the staff on both the hotel & restaurant were very good. The only niggle was being asked to pay for early access to the hotel room for arriving 40mins early.. we went for a coffee instead but they did keep our bags!
Tried to charge extra £10 fir 50 min early check in. Room stank of damp and excessive bleach. Staff were related to Scrooge I believe - very cold and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t stay there again - would sleep in the car first !!!
Stayed here overnight when visiting my daughter. Long drive so very weary when we eventually arrived. Comfortable bed, perfect surroundings, great sleep. I have tried various places, will stick with here.
Used this hotel as it was my partner’s birthday, so we went to a restaurant than back to this hotel for the night. Had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast. I’ve been here before and will definitely return. 😀
