Perfect day - loop around the lake with a pal. We'd both seen the copious adverts for the re-branded "Hotel Rudyard". Let's give it a try !! Never was any good for food. Decor looking good - some effort and investment evident. HOWEVER - the worst Burger and Chips you will find. Plastic/rubbery tasteless burger - dry, hard chips and...

Room was very small ideal for one but not for two, there were no chairs to sit on or space to put one so had to sit on bed when in room. Carvery was very mediocre the veg all tasted the same the Yorkshire pudding been out so long was inedible, the restaurant was more of a refectory rather than...

Booked the rudyard hotel as a last minute getaway, there were others that we could have booked but opted for this one purely because of the price. Having never been to the area we didn't know what to expect. The hotel is in need of a makeover, a lick of paint would do it a great favour. The rooms that...

We were originally just looking for somewhere to stay for one night with the kids while we visited friends over from Oz. Didn't have high hopes, just looking for a clean family room close to Leek. We got a lot more than we bargained for, Hotel Rudyard is a little gem. After a quick look round we decided we'd extend...

We stopped here for a drink whilst we were staying in the area, and we were really impressed with the hotel. We had our dog with us, and it was a nice day, so we decided to sit outside. The outdoor seating area was lovely with a nice view of the surrounding area. The drinks were reasonably priced which was...

A working lunch, choice of eating in the carvery or a bar meal, both offering a good choice. We chose the bar menu, the food well presented and arrived quite quickly. the staff really pleasant, a good place to eat

Myself and my mum popped here one mid-week night for a carvery. Lovely and quite, speedy service, nice and warm in front of the fire and happy staff. They have put the prices up but they are still very cheap compared to others in the area. Will defiantly return with the rest of the family.

Thank Hayley S
