My husband booked this in advance as it was near to the cat show which we came here for . We had trouble at first parking in the small car park at the back of the hotel . The room which we are staying in is small but cosy . Has also got some nice touches in the room ....

We stopped here on an impromptu Birthday night away, we were greeted with a warm welcome an shown to our room which was spot on, very clean and well turned out, plenty of tea an coffee as biscuits. The ensuite was yet again spotlessly clean an had all your usual toiletries. We had our evening meal in the restaurant which...

Stayed the weekend in a triple room (one double, one single) in the main building above Christophers restaurant. Room was clean, with an electric heater and air conditioning. En suite bathroom had a walk in shower (hurray, no having to climb in and out of a bath to have a shower) Tea/coffee/biscuits with kettle as well as a freeview TV...

Myself and husband stayed here for 1 night for our wedding Anniversary and we was both overwhelmed with the whole experience. The room was beautiful and fresh exactly what we was expecting and more. The location was perfect in walking distance of all, day and night life. We didn't have a reservation in the restaurant for the evening and when...

I arrived here late at night and once parked (car park is quite small) was checked in a professional and friendly manner. I had a nice room although you had to hunt for the bathroom fan (NOT a big issue) and slept well before an early start. I ate in the restaurant which was fine. Can recommend.

A two night stopover. Friendly attentive and professional staff. Entertained my sister and friend for lunch on the first day. The restaurant is a real discovery using mainly all local ingredients. Even the bread is from a small local village bakery. The rooms are superb with Hypnos beds and a fantastic shower with lovely products in the bathroom. Apart from...

I stayed here with my son the night before a day trip to the zoo. I've stayed here before and liked it so came back. Can't add more than what was on my last review: Nice room, clean, the beams on the ceiling are a nice homely touch, TV worked, shower worked, nice toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities are good -...

Stayed for two nights as the title suggest front of house and restaurant were lovely. Can't fault the cleanliness of the room or the amenities but it was abbot shabby and could do with updating. Wouldn't stay again unless rooms were modernised. Other than that great!

This lovely hotel was just right for over night stay on way to Oxford. Nothing too much trouble for lovely welcoming hotel staff.....mentioned I was cold. Heater magic lay appears in room. We had a four poster bed as well. Two caveats.....the hotel clearly has Tamworth's best restaurant Christopher's attached to it. Blithely assumed we would have priority for booking...

Stayed at the Peel Aldergate for one night as part of a family get together and birthday celebration. Parking was no problem as there is a small private car park on site. We arrived around noon, checked into our rooms and then had a 3 course family lunch with 15 people. Very tasty and filling ! The food is excellent,...
