Had a lovely room which was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was full of designer toiletries. Now we come to the good bit, the breakfast was five stars. We had a meal on the Saturday night in one of the function rooms which was good. Staff were excellent.

Rooms tired and paintwork badly marked and dirty in places. Communal stairs and doors just felt grubby. We had a double and single which shared a bathroom and although it had their own entrance, it shared with the hotel office and back of kitchen. Very odd. Restaurant was good with friendly staff although didn't know how to handle a minor... More

Spent 2 nights here for a family wedding. The rooms are spotless and we were very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. The function room is an ideal size for a smaller group which isn't easy to find. The meal we had for the wedding lunch was superb. I cannot praise the attention to detail and customer service highly enough. The... More

Cosy, welcoming, nicely finished rooms in Tamworth. Staff here have been attentive and friendly. Great for business or a romantic stay, its close to major link roads and is also nearly in the middle of town. Christopher's restaurant is lovely, food is great and you have to try the garlic bread! Opposite is the tamworth assembly rooms with various events... More

Stayed here for one night with its close proximity to Drayton Manor Park . Stayed with my partner and 2 young children (1 & 2). Our room was spacious and very safe for our children. The room was lovely, with tea/coffee provided, can't complain about this at all. There was no cot provided (although we did not ask while booking)... More

Booked two rooms for one night as we were visiting The National Arboretum the following day. The hotel (or should I say restaurant with rooms) is on the main road thru Tamworth and close to the town centre and castle. The rooms were of reasonable size (with tea/coffee/water) located at the back of the restaurant up a flight of steep... More

My partner and me left Tamworth a few years ago and we decided to visit our families and we brought our new cornish friends. We decide to check into a local town centre hotel as we wanted to be within a stroll of the town centre and a colleague recommend this place. ...and I owe him a drink! ....accommodation was... More

Stayed one night and very happy with room and service. Staff very friendly and helpful from the start. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely. I didn't book a vegetarian one but was offered one when I only asked for the non meat items. Mine was lovely and the others in the party reported theirs being delicious! The Car park was... More

Stayed here for one week - very comfortable bed; clean, spacious room with a well equipped ensuite shower room. The breakfast is very good, but I didn't get chance to try the evening meals. The parking is tight, but secured at night. Unfortunately they were booked the next week or I would have happily returned.
