Our room was spotlessly clean crisp white sheets and lovely fluffy towels. Our room was due for modernization bathroom very old fashioned. Bed was really comfortable. I.I think they need to hurry up and do them now. Staff in all departments excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Price was very competitive. Would go again.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend, two teenage sons and their mother. We needed hot showers, peace and quiet, good food and space and the Thatchers in East Horsley delivered this is style. We had a family room and it worked really well for us. The most standout part of the whole stay was the service, from the...

On the 2nd August I was married at Legacy Thatcher. I had such an amazing wedding experience at the Legacy Thatchers and I wish to thank everyone who helped to make the day very special. Clinton, the wedding co-coordinator, did an amazing job, he was discrete but at the same time always at hand to help out. He made us...

We were a family party of six meeting up for a birthday celebration. We found a Wowcher deal that included bed, breakfast and a wine tasting at the nearby Denbies Vineyard. There were minor difficulties initially with the booking and getting the wine tasting voucher but once that was sorted out we had a lovely weekend. We went to Denbies...

When we arrived at the hotel I thought it was going to be old fashioned. I was wrong. The interior design was very nice and welcoming. We had the very last room on the highest floor, there wasn't much of a view but the room was very nice. I had a few technical difficulties when trying to turn the TV...

Staff were helpful and friendly and all our...

The car park at Legacy Thatchers is secure and we were able to access our room without using stairs. The room was large (double and single bed) and nicely appointed, although the bathroom was a little "tired" but spacious. The service in the bar was good and the (Canadian) bar tender very pleasant although the bar does get unattended for...

Business trip, parking was good (and free!) Check in was a little clunky. Rooms are ok, again, nothing spectacular, looked a little tired in places. The walls had a big chunks missing, where the bedside tables had clearly been dragged to clean. A few people have commented on the cleanliness, which certainly needs to be improved, the windowsill looked like...

OK, this is a hotel you'd expect in England. It gave me the feeling of being in the heart of UK, where the queen is taking a walk near by. Breakfast was decent, surroundings - fancy in old-fashion way. Price good, rooms comfy.
