Upon arrival the car was full but these people were not in the pub! We entered the bar and there were plenty of empty tables but it seemed we should have booked! However a table was found. The waiter having taken our orders went on to clear tables twice dropping and breaking crockery. The food took an age to come...

Went here for lunch today. It was my 3rd visit. Ordered the vegetarian fish and chips (pieces of halloumi battered & deep fried). It was busy and they were clearly understaffed. Food took a long time to come. Cut into one of my bits of halloumi only to find it was actually fish. As a vegetarian who doesn't eat meat...

The room was clean. The king...

Went here today for lunch and used the vouchers that were sent to us last year by spirit inns after a bad experience in the peak district last year, it appears to be a trend with this company that you wait ages for your meal (40mins) today then they bring your food to the table that still has no cutlery...

Had a very enjoyable lunch with my family. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had the seafood platter between 4 of us, which was more than adequate and enjoyable. Followed by 2 roasts a seabass and a gammon steak. Although it was a very hot day and the restaurant inside and out was very busy, we did not...

Stayed here during Ascot races week. Found the staff to be accommodating. They are young so need encouragement to talk but once relaxed all were OK. ( perhaps need better training) Dan the supervisor from Romania was very helpful. The bar is relaxed and reasonably tidy. The prices and selection are ok. We had an evening meal shared platter which...

We stopped off for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. The food is a great price for the quality received. Both my husband and I were extremelyextremely satisfied. Very large portions though! Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
