Delightful bed and breakfast. The landlady made us feel really welcome from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The room was lovely and the breakfast choice was plentiful and the food was really good. Will definitely use again

A fabulous B&B, room was clean, and the beds were really comfy. One of the friendliest places we've ever stayed. Me and the kids were made to feel really welcome, the breakfast what can I say; absolutely superb and a great selection of cereal, toast, yogurts etc. Will visit again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A superb B&B, Clean well appointed rooms, efficiently run by the delectable Jan, who provides an outstanding breakfast. Short walk to the beach, centre of town and the Metro. No car park, but plenty of free parking on adjoining streets.

My wife and I have stayed at The Magpie's Nest several times in recent years on our trips up from South Wales and Jan always remembers us. She is always welcoming and the breakfasts are great! The location is great with the town centre a 2 minute walk in one direction and the seafront a few minutes the opposite way....

I actually stayed here May 2015 (not 2016) in the triple room, and really enjoyed it. The owner Jan is a really friendly and lovely person, full of interesting stories! The breakfast is full of choice (English Breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, etc) and really hearty and substantial! Its in a great location, and I would definitely try to come back here...
