Stayed here for two nights. Was a little apprehensive of staying here due to some of the reviews that we had seen. Thankfully we had no issues with this place. The staff are very friendly the room although a little dated was clean and tidy nice size. The beds are very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone

I booked this hotel for a training week at work as it was the cheapest available in this area at the time. Plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and my room was cleaned daily. The room was big and the bed comfortable. It was perfect for just myself. Although there were no plugs near the bed so it...

Take a step back into the1970s with this hidden gem of a hotel! Council looking building, horrible stench of fried food as we walked in at 1am to reception! Got to the room and was met by a smell that reminded me of a old damp dog, the beds were the most uncomfortable I have slept in, also a hole...

I booked a total of 12 rooms for a visit to Chester le street, the service was impeccable. Booking lady was so helpful and arranged a deal to include breakfast, which could match a 4 star hotel. The rooms a bit dated but what super value when you just need a room, huge car park and ideal for A1. Good...

We stayed here before starting the Hadrians Wall walk and it's like a cheap, friendly hostel. The walls are things and there was only one place to charge a phone and that's the plug socket for the kettle. So one at a time. The breakfast was brilliant, cooked to order with all the extras. The rooms were very basic but...

We booked an overnight and got room for £25. Room was clean and warm, had TV, tea and coffee and bath/shower. Just what we needed after long day at Beamish Museum. Went to nearby pub for drinks that evening. Didn't bother with breakfast as we wanted to be back at Beamish museum when they opened at 10am (tickets valid from...

Stayed here last night, right beside Premier Inn and Holiday Inn, much cheaper...had the best sleep in ages. Decor a little dated but how many times have I paid more to stay in named hotels to find their decor just as dated! Service at this hotel is awesome, bed very comfy and shower nice and powerful. Will definitely stay here...

My partner and I stayed over the Easter weekend as we were visiting friends, the hotel was very basic but clean. We stayed in one room for the first night after booking a double room we had two single beds together (apparently classed as a double because the zip together) the beds had a gap in between and were so...

Stayed here last September when we visited Beamish. Back again for another day at Beamish so returned to the Campanile. The hotel can certainly do with upgrading but the rooms are clean, beds comfy, lovely crisp white bed linen. Breakfast was terrific but biggest plus is the lovely friendly staff. If we return for another visit to Beamish will not...
