I have stayed here on a number of occasions and my previous stays have been satisfactory. However on this occasion I'm very disappointed with the time it has taken for my food to be served. I waited 45 minutes for main course to arrive, without the courtesy of an apology for the delay. It may be a one off but...

Stayed here as part of a conference and paid for an extra night. Difficult to find in the dark. Very poor signposting. Rooms are in separate building which is a fair trek with no lift or help with luggage. Room OK. Bed small and refreshments had 2 teabags and 2 milk pots and one pack of biscuits which was just...

Dear Kagsporter Thank you for taking your time to leave your review. We do state on our website that the bedroom blocks are in the old courtyard opposite the main hotel & conference centre. Our bedroom supplies are standard and extra can be ordered by dialing or approaching the front desk. Our continental breakfasts include 7 different types of cereals,...

Just come back from spending 2 days here on a training course. First morning there i was welcomed to a selection of hot drinks and pastries, lunch was also a pleasure with a meat, fish and veggie dish, as well as a salad bar and desserts. Having checked into my room i unfortunately found the remains of the previous guest...

Dear madcow20142014 Thank you for your kind comments about the staff and lunch food. I have passed these on. I accept all comments and would have been happy to have addressed the issue of bedroom cleanliness at the time. We are currently composing a new bar menu. In the meantime, I have passed on your comments to the chef who...

Absolutely beautiful country setting . My room was in the annex just beside the main building. Rooms was small and basic but comfortable - nothing like the pictures of the main building rooms. Annex could do with an update but for the price it was fine. Dinner at the restaurant was nice, service a bit slow but they were busy...

We use this venue for some of our training courses. The staff are excellent especially the concierge, who is very helpful. Food caters for all tastes and the chef was very helpful providing a vegan meal for one of the delegates. Rooms are comfortable. Be aware that mobile telephone reception is poor.

Rooms small but have tea and coffee, iron, hair dryer facilities in them. The hotel is set in nice grounds. The gym was getting upgraded and was in a poor state. Clean hotel but staff miserable. Food takes hours to be served (1 hour for a cheese board).

The accommodation was readily available for guest who travelled afar and were clean and nicely maintained. The venue was chosen due to the picturesque grounds and the characteristics of the building. There are so...

I had tom cancel my booking due to circumstances beyond my control. I spoke to the staff at the hotel called "Lizzy" and explained the reasons for my cancellation. She was very polite and and understanding and cancelled the reservation. It was great P.R. and I look forward to staying there when I am in the area next. Imtiaz Sheikh.

Stayed on a Saturday night when unfortunately there was a wedding party. The wedding party itself wasn't the problem, several of the guests decided to continue their party in the room next to ours between 01:30 and 03:00. Despite two requests for the staff to control the noise nothing happened. I filed a complaint form in the morning and it...

I informed you of this and on his...

Stayed over afterwards and the rooms are well equipped even...
