I was visiting the quaint and tranquil village of Market Bosworth when I almost immediately noticed Ye Old Red Lion (very original!) and obviously wanted to check it out. I was particularly struck by how old the building appeared to be which is the norm in that particular village, the beautiful tudor era facade really being noticed by me. When...

Just stayed overnight, made very welcome, lovely comfortable stay, evening meal excellent and the breakfast great. Made all the more welcome by the friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area. A really relaxing weekend. Also. Enjoyed the lunch time drinks due to weather not being great

Great little find with home cooked food, real ales, friendly staff and occasional live music. Will return as enjoyed our evening there, as much for the 'proper pub' feel and proper pub food cooked to order. Enjoyed their homemade lasagne and beer battered cod and the rhubarb and apple crumble was (hate to say it) as good as my mum's!

We returned to Ye Olde Red Lion six months after our first visit there. We had enjoyed that visit and were not disappointed on our second. We were greeted as we walked in - that was late afternoon so that we could ensure that there was a table available and the menu still suited our desires. It was heart warming...

Four of us with dog called in yesterday for a lunch and a pint. Although we were right on the point of the kitchen closing we were served with a smile. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The food was very good as was the beer. Would definitely recommend this pub and will use again when we are in...

While staying at Bosworth Hall with friends, we enjoyed and quiet drink and a chat at the Red Lion. It's located in the heart of Market Bosworth. The pub offered a variety of real ales and usual beverages. The staff were polite and friendly. And although the pub wasn't very busy, I can imagine it gets very popular in the...

Went here Saturday night for a few drinks whilst staying at bosworth hall hotel 3minute walk away. Really busy and buzzing pub. All bar Staff were bang on, we couldn't fault them. Prices are average Must be the busiest pub in Market Bosworth.

“We think all rooms are on the road so be aware there will be some traffic noise. Room 4, the one we stayed in, may be the best option as one window opens on to the car park.”

“Last time we were in room 5 across the courtyard and this time in room 1 on the 1st floor just above the bar. It was a bit noisy until the bar closed at 12 but then was quiet and we slept well. When we stay next time I'll ask for room 4 on the next floor up for a change (the other double). The other 2 rooms are a twin and a single.”
