First of all there is no real parking. Asda doesn't really count for me, especially when the maximum length of a stay is 3 hours. The reception area is nice but the rooms are dated and in need of a refresh. I didn't realise you could still get single beds (pushed up against a grubby wall) On the plus, the...

The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no car park at the hotel but you can park in Asda, just behind the hotel, as long as you are up & gone by about 8am. We both ate at the hotel and the fish & chips was really very good. The downside is the rooms. They are very tired looking....

Lovely historic building, inviting dining room, warm fire and warm welcome- food very good as well! This hotel restaurant really deserves to be busier on a Friday night. The chips are to die for and there is a compact menu of quality food. I had steak with stuffed mushroom and shallots and my husband had chicken with dauphinois potatoes and...

We booked a private space in this hotel for a small wake which needed to be held in the Rugby area. Choosing a venue was a little daunting as we were not familiar with the town and its facilities but in the end we were pleased with our choice. The atmosphere was relaxed and staff were helpful and welcoming and...

How can I sum this up without sounding petty: - Check in was quick - Rooms tatty and tired - a tatty B&B with posh toiletries - Tiny TV (didn't use it) - Fan noise from adjacent rooms unbearable - people were waiting 60 -90 minutes between courses in restuarant when there were only a handful of customers - food...

Attended a family gathering locally. Service very good. Basic but comfortable room with all the usual facilities for a short break. Great value for money. Breakfast was spot on. Everything you'd expect and well presented. We would stay again for the next family 'do' and recommend it to family.

I do tend to eat out a lot, at a wide variety of places from Maccy D's to Michelin starred places. My family and I went here for Sunday lunch. £14.95 for three courses and frankly I was amazed at how good the standard was for that price. I'd have paid twice that. Aside from the food the decor of...

We held our Company Xmas Do here this year and had a really good night. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Food was great. Good disco. Would definitely book again. We didn't use the hotel rooms only the bar and restaurant but clean and tidy in all the areas we used.

Room was clean but in need of modernisation. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was ok good shower though. Nobody at reception when we returned at midnight so had to help are self's to room key which made me question security as anybody could have helped themselves to a key.
