Had afternoon tea as a birthday present with my husband, Michelle & Alyson looked after us impeccably, food was delightful 💕 30/01/2023, definitely recommend. We definitely be making a return visit.
Wow just wow. The Belfry has never failed to amaze me... I haven't been to this hotel since February 2020 due to Covid. I honestly felt so safe, all the staff wore a mask and the hotel was spotless, there were plenty of hand gels throughout the whole site. I also liked that on the doors to the bedrooms they had a sticker to say that the room had been sanitized. When we arrived we checked in and then went straight for afternoon tea. I've been a few places for afternoon tea but The Belfry really does go above and beyond to make it a special treat. We then went for a swim with the children, the pool is great and changing the rooms are spacious and clean. When we went to our room the staff had left teddies for the children and a plate of goodies for my birthday, it was a lovely touch. We normally eat at the Ryder Grill for our evening meal but this time we wanted to try Sams Club House, we sat looking out onto the golf course. Music was on and the atmosphere was buzzing, the kids loved it and we all loved the buffalo chicken wrap, it's got a great kick to it and all the food was hot and fresh. I love that in the rooms they have got rid of the mini bottles of shampoo etc and just have the big ESPA pumps. Thinking of the environment made me smile. Now it was time to jump into bed, that reminds me I need to ask where they get the mattresses from you literally fall into them nice, warm and cosy. Me and hubby woke up early to head to the Fire and Ice experience, it was great fun all different rooms to try however I wasn't brave enough to dunk the ice water over my head! We then headed for breakfast with friends and our children. One my favourite parts of The Belfry is breakfast, they do tell you at check in that busy times are 9am to 10am, so best to try and get down before then. I love the all the choices they have for breakfast, it's a buffet but it's one of the best I've had. Kids wanted to go back to the pool and then we had a go at the mini golf, it's great fun although we all need to practice! we had to fish our balls out the water a few times. It was late afternoon and kids started to feel hungry so we went to the main lobby for lunch kids got panini's, and us adults tried the steak ciabatta and soup, we couldn't fault any of it and the staff were lovely. I will 100% return to The Belfry, the staff go out of their way to make your stay the best possible. Sad to of had to leave. Thank you for the memories x…
Spa was very nice , good facilities. Didn't realise that the pool was open to children as well . Ryder grill was fabulous! Alex and josh were amazing hosts with a wonderful enegy about them . We opted for the buffet and it was a great range of high quality food .we even had 2 helpings of desert. The banana bread is to die for ! Honestly can't thank Alex and josh enough they really made the experience. Specially josh who answered the weirdest of questions
We went for a relaxing spa break. However the facilities were so packed we could never use them. The hotel was extremely loud, busy & lively & it wasn't the relaxing atmosphere we had hoped for. The spa lounge was very untidy, rubbish everywhere, no water, like it hadn't been attended to. People attempting to get into our room drunk. However I did have a massage by Safa who was absolutely amazing and it was the best part of it all so thank you! Evening buffet & breakfast was also delicious. Staff all so friendly and hotel very clean & tidy & kept well. It's just a very busy place and the spa is not big enough for the hotel!
We went for overnight stay with spa access ,I also booked fire and ice and a massage. The ladies changing room lockers were all full apart from 3 that were broken so not a good start. Fire and ice was extremely busy staff were run of there feet saying it was overbooked and it was full of hen party’s .We were called in the morning and and a message was left to call them back which was impossible I couldn’t get any answer which was stressful not knowing if they were cancelling/ changing our time slot for the treatment ( they did) We then checked in to our room which should’ve been a double but was a twin room so asked for this to be sorted , the 2 cups in the room were used and dirty so another trip to reception. This is supposed to be a 4star so I was abit disappointed We had dinner at the Ryder grill and this was really good as was breakfast in the morning and the staff were all very friendly .…
I was bought an afternoon tea experience for my birthday. We were served by Ali at the bar, who was very attentive and offered a personalised service, recommending and creating delicious cocktails. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
First visit and had a fab spa day with the bestie. This was a good wowcher deal for spa day for 2 including, fire and ice, treatments and afternoon tea. Zaynah who carried out my treatment was fantastic. So friendly as are all staff I encountered (including spa reception). Great pressure for massage and loved the facial and head massage - highly recommended. Afternoon tea was yummy. Only downside was really busy but it was a Saturday. Will be returning.
Stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, booked our stay with evening meal, bottle of Prosecco in the room and breakfast. We also up graded our room at a fantastic price with fantastic views of first tee on the golf course. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. We had a very good nights sleep in the huge bed. Our only observation was the shower unit was extremely small for us tall people but we managed and had a lovely hot showers. We had drinks in both bars with varying prices, the drinks also appeared to get more expensive the later the night went in £22 for two rum at cokes - the same rum is £20 a bottle in Sainsburys!!!!!! But it was a rare treat and my husband birthday so we just enjoyed even more knowing the expense of the drink. Thank you for a lovely nights stay.…
Just WOW! From start to finish our overnight stay with spa and golf was unbelievable! Started the day with my partner playing on the PGA course which he raved about the whole evening! Meanwhile I relaxed in the rider bar before going to the spa. I have travelled to many spa’s and absolutely adore a good massage but never have I been as relaxed and looked after as I was in the belfry spa. I spent some time in the fire and ice rooms which was unbelievable however, the highlight of the trip over all was the AMAZING massage I received from Kelly V!! The rooms, the message, the relaxing lounge, there is not one bad thing I can say! We then went for dinner in the evening and spent some time in the rider bar listening to the live singer whilst having a few cocktails. The staff at the belfry are unbelievably kind and go out their way to greet and look after you. Thank you so much for ending my 30th birthday celebrations in the best way possible. Already looking for our next stay!…
What a beautiful hotel, from the minute we were greeted to the minute we left every staff member was wonderful and very helpful. The fire and ice was excellent and very relaxing and the spa amazing especially Maria t, her massage was the best I’ve ever had. I will be returning soon. Thank-you belfry
