Stopped here on our motorbikes en route to Liverpool It was cheapest we could find as just needed to put our heads down for the night Bed was big and comfortable and room was ok for the price Staff were friendly and the Indian meal in the restaurant was good Good location near motorway with plenty of parking round the...

Stayed here on a Saturday night, while attending a nearby family function. I have stayed at most, if not all, of the nearby budget hotels over the last few years when attending family functions. In my opinion it is the best budget hotel in the area. I found it to be perfectly adequate. The rooms were clean, albeit a bit...

Me and my 6 yr old son booked a room here for after the T20 finals day at Edgbaston. We arrived at around 10pm and checked in, check in went fine, the staff were friendly, having a joke with my son. We got to our room to discover the twin I booked turned out to be a double. It was...

I suppose in Oldbury you can't expect much more. This hotel is a hotel to sleep in when hungover. The rooms were ok but nothing exceptional. Nice stay but could be better. The staff were ok but very soulless. The building is modern but looks dirty from outside

Room was nice and clean, corridor carpets I couldnt say the same. Bloke who was cleaning rooms absolutely stank and left a trail of body odour behind him. Plenty of parking and not far from motorway. Food in hotel extortionate, asda opposite and macdonalds 2 minutes walk.

My 8yr old son and I used this hotel as a stopover whilst travelling north from Cornwall. We booked a twin room, but on arriving (about 10pm) we had been allocated a king size. Fortunately my son was happy to share, my teenager might not have been! The air con hadn't been on so the room was very hot, we...

We stayed for one night, after a trip to the black country museum. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV was a little awkward to use but did have all the standard freeview channels. Was very quiet and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. All the standard tea and coffee facilities were provided in the room, but we...

stayed at the Ramada Birmingham Oldbury as a stop over on the 13th July, the hotel is ok overall and the room was ok but very small bathroom, on the negative side tv kept losing its channel, Breakfast not special as seemed very cheap produce being used, plus very slow wi-fi but free.

It is what you would expect of a budget hotel. Looks a bit austere from the outside and so it is inside the rooms. Nothing special but clean and comfortable. The public areas are a bit better but still not much atmosphere. There is a small bar and a better restaurant than many similar style hotels, such as Travelodge and...

To advertise free Wi-Fi is a gross over statement. It was so slow that any chance of working in this hotel was an impossibility. I tried many times over my two night stay with no success. The hotel was clean and staff very good but this was a work trip and Wi-Fi is a key requirement.
