Although the hotel itself is not much to look at very old and run down (I guess this is to be expected with old hotels) It is also very awkward to find it is hidden behind a petrol garage? Our check in was more then satisfactory. Apon arrival we were greeted by katie who was lovely to speak to and very polite she engaged with my children and we spoke for a while which was pleasant. She then helped us with our luggage and was extremely helpful with all of our questions. The room we stayed in was spotless the bed was comfy and we all had a great sleep! There is no cooked breakfast available which is a shame but there are cafes and restaurants near by I have stayed in better looking travelodges before but it was the staff at oldbury that prompted me to make this review. It is sometimes rare to find staff who will go above and beyond for you but not at oldbury thanks again to katie and the cleaners we will be staying again!

Pleasant receptionist on arrival. Check in 8-9-21 Room and toilet area. Toilet dirty and underside of seat grime and filth. Cant use the hand basin as stopper leaks and wont hold water. Carpets old and unpleasant. Made an unrestful & unpleasant stay. Havent used you for a few years but conditions have certainly gone down.

Stayed at oldbury travelodge with my partner in july, room was absolutley spotless and the staff were just amazing, I think the woman's name who greeted us was called steph? Well mannered, cheerful and always had a big smile on her face when we saw her and more then happy to help us whenever we needed it. 100% recommend staying here!

Fantastic place to stay with family. Staff can’t do enough for you, yes rooms could do with an update but they are clean comfortable and we got ours for a really good price! It’s a short journey into Dudley and less than 5 mins from junction 2. Thank you to you all there for looking after me and my family x
