Beautiful setting, perfect for dog walking. We take our dogs with us when we go on our weekend breaks and wanted the best room but it wasn't available for both nights so settled for a superior room. So disappointing. The room was so small I had to squeeze around furniture. Having two dogs with us made it even worse and...

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend break at the hotel and spa. From the moment we checked in until check out everything was perfect. We had a beautiful room with a four poster bed and a stunning bathroom. The spa is fabulous and was lovely to have a dip. in the outdoor poor and use the hot tub....

Went there for a couple of days and it is fine as an old fashioned out of the way hotel if you want tranquility - but beware if you don't like dogs - every other resident had dogs - so if you're a canine fan and want somewhere to take you pooch it is ideal The real let down was...

When you arrive for the first time you get the feeling you're in a medieval settlement. Amazing layout of buildings. We had 2 very nice double rooms. Dog friendly except restaurant. Nice breakfast. Very expensive dinner. For us prohibitively so. Very nice pools and spa. Gym too. Helipad if required! The receptionist was very stuck up, unnecessary. Safe in room....

One of the very few places that go out of their way to accommodate vegans....and not the usual mushroom risotto or stuffed pepper!! Today we had fabulous tofu croquettes and ginger/ tomato sauce with THE most divine chocolate mousse and raspberry sorbet. Even the non-vegans in my party had the chocolate pudding and agreed it was sublime!! We will definitely...

We visited the hotel for an overnight stay and a couple of days relaxation. From telephoning to make the reservation until the moment that we left, customer service was impeccable. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant, were served beverages in the gardens and a perfectly poured and presented G and T in the cosy lounge. We felt thoroughly...

A treat that delivered on all fronts. The grounds provided walks and interest for my dog, who also benefitted from gravy bone biscuits and strokes, and within 5 minutes we were strolling along a deserted beach. There were nooks and crannies to curl up on sofas and read or watch other guests. Fires to warm by. Friendly atmosphere and welcome...

I treated myself to the Pamper Spa Day, I have not visited before but I was not disappointed. The outdoor pool and hot tub were lovely. I had Laura as my therapist and had a back massage and pamper facial for an hour and a half in total, both were amazing, I hope the Spa do a staff recognition as...

We stayed on a 2 night midweek Sandy Paws break and we all (dog included) had a really good relaxing break. Our room on the first floor of the Main House was well presented and comfortable - with the exception of the pillows, which were far too soft for us. Our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate was not cheap, but...
