A great place to stay with great basic facilities. Beds are comfy. Self-catering, but very close to a Lidl and the kitchen is well equipped. Social spaces are kept clean and tidy, with books and TV available. Friendly and helpful staff.
Normally we stay in youth hostels with a cafe etc but thought as there was a cafe (The Look and Sea) below with discount if you were staying at the YHA, we'd try it. Arrived to find the cafe went in to administration a month ago, but still advertised on YHA website.

We had a 2 night stay at the YHA Littlehampton. The accommodation was roomy & clean, great for a family of four. The kitchen and lounge area to make a cup of tea after a day out and about was fab. Quiet nice location with parking close by. The staff welcomed us both evenings …
Ideal location with the facilities ideal for a hostel. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants as well as very centrally placed for rail and bus travel. Close to Brighton, Arundel and Chichester. Lovely beach
We loved it. We just relaxed and had fun. Walked down by the beach and then had some super chill evenings. The hostel was awesome and exactly what we wanted, we are thinking of going back next year!!!
"Only one communal toilet and shower, so definitely recommend getting an ensuite room."
"Ask for a room with an ensuite."
"You might want to choose a room that does not share a room with the public facilities!"
"If one becomes a member of the YHA, then there is a 3 GBP reduction for members on bookings."
"We stayed in Beachy Head room."
