Service at the hotel often receives positive remarks, highlighting the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The Travelodge in Rustington is well located for Worthing, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Chichester. On arrival I was given a warm welcome - I was in need of a room for the night and was glad to hear that a room was available. The receptionist advised me to book my room online as it would be considerably cheaper. I could not reserve the room with her at the desk, so I left and proceeded to book online so as not to lose the room. How ridiculous! Anyway, my later check-in was smooth and I was handed the keys to a ground floor room. I could not help but notice the strong musty smell that lingered through the corridor and it continued into my room. My room was spacious, sheets and towels were clean and my bed was comfortable. The walls in the room (including the bathroom) looked like they needed a good paint. Upon opening my curtains the next morning, there was black mould stains on the window frame. A good coat of paint and a carpet clean would make this Travelodge a much more pleasant place to stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Littlehampton Rustington hotel. We're pleased to hear that you liked the hotels location, you received a warm welcome and the room was clean and comfortable however we are sorry to learn of your disappointment with the booking process, hotel smell and the age of the facilities. We have an ongoing refurbishment program and, while we cannot refurbish every hotel simultaneously, we are working to make sure that hotels are refurbished regularly. We appreciate all the feedback we receive and our Hotel Managers regularly review their TripAdvisor reviews in order to fix any issues raised and pass on feedback to their team. Thank you once again and we do hope you will stay with us in the future.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location in very convenient as close to the beach however the location is in front of a 24 hour petrol station and right next to a national speed limit road where I found it was very noisy with lots of sporty cars and loud bikes whizzing away. I think if we had a room facing the back this wouldn’t be so bad, so I would recommend requesting a rear facing room. The rooms were very comfy and spacious, however they are a bit tired and a renovation is needed soon. We had a dirty eye cotton pad on our window sill and I understand this could’ve been missed but with COVID I think cleaners should check everywhere. The staff were lovely and there was ample parking available, along with a Burger King right next door. Good value for money and I would stay again as is so convenient for a little beach break.

I felt this was an overpriced accommodation for basically a motel. Room stank of stale cigarette and clearly they had been hanging out the window to puff away but you couldn’t get rid of the stink. Arrived very late, had rung earlier to say it would be well after midnight, and this had been passed onto the night manager who was expecting me, so that was super painless.

As with travelodge £3 for WiFi is just crazy these days and having to ask for a hairdryer is miserly ( tho they didn’t have one available ).

Room was a tad tired and shower curtain beyond its life.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the room to be very clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, our room faced the car park and 24 hour petrol station so it was very noisy at night time and early morning. The car park however has ample parking and the location is ideal for the seafront. There aren’t any hairdryers in the room (so you have to ask the staff but they are very helpful), and there are no USB ports either. The rooms need refurbishment as the carpets were faded in parts and the woodwork needs attention. Once the decor is revamped it will be even better. We found the staff to be extremely welcoming, happy and helpful. I will definitely return as it provides good value for money.

Next door to BK and a garage.

Check in was far better than most Travlodges and was provided by a lovely lady who made me very welcome.

Free parking

Room was clean, quiet and warm

Rear facing rooms are adjacent to a public walk way and it is not fenced off so I would personally have felt better if I was upstairs

Upon arrival at Littlehampton travelodge we were greeted by Bev. She quickly recognised that we were night workers and chose us a room where we would not be disturbed for our precious day sleep. Bev welcomed us everytime we arrived back at the hotel as did all the other members of the team. One of the best travelodges we have stayed at and trust me we travel the country week in week out. I would like to thankyou all for your hospitality in such challenging times. The team also were very noligable of the area and helped us to find places to eat. Cheers Russ *****

I only stayed 1 night. I was very pleased with the whole experience. From entering the building, I was met with a friendly smile from reception who was very helpful. When I opened my room, I was overwhelmed with the fresh smell. The windows were open to keep it aired. All very clean. The shower worked well and the bed was very comfortable I was a bit apprehensive about staying anywhere under the circumstances, but I would not hesitate to stay there again 😊

My Family live in the Bognor Regis area, so we chose Littlehampton because it is so convenient to travel to and from. We were even able to travel into Chicester for the shops and cafes. Littlehampton also have a variety of shops and cafes. My husband is disabled and the staff there were so helpful. The beds and bedrooms were clean and comfortable and I felt so relieved to know anything I wanted I only had to ask. The access for the wheelchair was good and there are no stairs for me to worry about( a real hazard for wheelchair users. )The price also fitted in with budget which can sometimes be more than I can afford.

Think there was one bay near the door but it was limited by the overgrown bushes. To be fair the carpark is flat and right in front of the lodge

5 mins in the car or a 20-30 min walk. You can get the bus 700 into Littlehampton town or Rustington from outside the hotel too.
