We ate at this pub while staying at the Old Railway Station next door, we read the reviews and looked at the menu both of which were good so we thought we would give it a try. We booked our table via email a few days before as we didnt want to leave it to chance, we were glad we...

We drive past Badgers every Sunday on our way home and always say we should stop and give it a go...well we did and we certainly weren't disappointed by this little gem. After sitting at the bar having a lovely G&T we sat down to a beautiful meal of Oysters followed by a Zarzuela (Spanish seafood casserole). The staff are...

We had an overnight stay on our way to Portsmouth, our room was nice and quiet as it did not face the road. In the evening we enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant and our breakfast outside on the patio.

Its a lovely Inn with a good atmosphere. The room and bathroom were good sized and very clean. We also had our dinner in the restaurant and it was very tasty. The food was all home cooked. We did not have room for a pudding, but the menu looked tempting. The staff were very welcoming and it seemed to be...

We stayed just round the corner in the Old Station and so this was a natural dinner location. And it’s great! Delightful service and truly lovely food. The term gastropub is overused but this is it. Exciting combination of flavours and fine presentation. Washed down with lovely beers in a nice setting. Nothing more needed!

Me and my partner had been to the goodwood festival of speed. We had seen this pub on the way to the festival and it looked picturesque. So we pulled up for some dinner. We arrived just before the kitchen had opened. We hadn't reserved a table which I would recommend as there were only 2 tables left. We were...

We visited here a couple of times whilst staying at the nearby Old Railway Station B&B. Service was good. Had a shared seafood platter on our second visit, which was really enjoyable. The rear gardens are particularly tranquil.

Stayed here for two nights. Large comfortable room with good bed but soft furnishings a bit dated.Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Restaurant very good.Plenty of choice .Food well cooked and served by really friendly and efficient staff.Rooms and food very good value in what can be an expensive area. Highly recommended for a short break.
