Lovely b&b with high standards and a good pub-restaurant. Nice and comfortable and quiet. Nice pub garden too. Only problem points are low doorways (14th century) and high prices. But you get what you pay for.

Having visited The Angel Inn on a number of occasions over the years, my goodwill finally evaporated. My wife and I had lunch there on Sunday 29th May and I ordered the "Steak Burger". After an initial taste I questioned the manager as to whether I had been served a veggie burger. No, I hadn't - a veggie burger wasn't...

We can only be disappointed that Andrew was disappointed by the burger that he was served. Suggesting it is a “fake burger “ is grossly inaccurate, unfair and defamatory. I can only refer you to other reviews. I asked our head chef for his thoughts and I repeat them verbatim below. “Having spoken with Will I get the distinct impression...

Visited today as a family and as always a most enjoyable experience. We have always enjoyed a the relaxed atmosphere and this is a great place to visit when in town. Service was good without being over attentive and the food was well cooked and tasty. And for a bonus, the pub stocks a good choice of local ales.

Considering the excellent reviews that the Angel receives we were extremely disappointed with our lunchtime experience. Firstly there were very few diners which did not help with the atmosphere but also could be an indicator of a drop in standards. As we passed other pubs in the area, there carparks were all busy. Talking of carparks, the owner spent a...

There is also car parking. The Host and his staff could not have been more helpfuol and friendly from Breakfast to the evening...

Very friendly place with imaginative vege options and a generally great looking menu. Very dog friendly with a beautiful interior and lovely large beer garden. Parking a little limiting as a v.small car park that gets filled up early.

I had booked in advance for a group of eleven friends after a day walking on the South Downs, and I couldn't have made a better choice. We were made very welcome and the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The menu was extensive and the food was superb and piping hot. The staff were friendly and efficient,...

Stayed here on business and from the moment I walk in to the time I left, the staff and owner were friendly and helpful, surroundings had bagfuls of character. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, very comfortable large bed. Good choice fo breakfast and you certainly don't leave hungry...........as I said in the title...without fault.

Right bang in the middle of lovely Petworth, we've now stayed here a couple of times despite living round the corner... don't ask! The room is lovely, bed is very comfortable with quality linen and with all the character lacking in so many hotels these days but the bathroom's good too with a lovely shower and bath, with lots of...
