Bathroom could do with a llittle modernising but was comfortable and spacious.Breakfast was lovely & was cooked speedily the restaurant didn't open until 7.30am & I needed to get going by 7.45am...

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. I had booked this break in the summer. The room we were given was in the attic. There were problems with the room e.g. TV remote didn't work, the window blind was broken. The bathroom was very basic. Not worth almost £200 per night even at Christmas. I knew the Hotel was full....

We had a standard double room which was reasonably spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the quiet environment, both together, enabled us to sleep extremely well. The en-suite was small but provided us with all the facilities needed. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The manager/owner always gave time to guests and did all within her...

It was a special occasion being taken out to what I can only say is a restaurant that offered both informality and impeccable service. My starter was Cream of Mushroom soup simply delicious. My main course spaghetti Vongole I thought I was going to have to cancel when I ordered. It had an unusual combination, clams, mussels, cod and salmon....

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times in the last few weeks, both times for leisure reasons as our son was getting married nearby the first time and the second time we were visiting friends who live nearby in the county. We were struck by the friendliness of the staff and the actual cosiness of the hotel...

I really enjoy coming here for work, and it has nothing to do with the happy hour. A past visit put me off where a staff members child was kicking a football around the bar, and no one thought this was inappropriate, that felt weird, should I really have to tell them that this is not acceptable in a hotel...

We had a few reservations after reading some reviews but these were quickly dissolved when we arrived. The hotel is in a picture perfect, quiet village and the building looks superb. The gardens are not at their best in October but there was ongoing external painting and maintenance work underway. Someone needs to note the detail outside and clear up...

We stayed on 1st October in the honeymoon suite. A very large room with a 2 person bath in the corner. The bathroom was also a good size with a double walk in shower. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The new owners have only been there for a few weeks and have some good plans for this...
