I stayed at Yelapa Oasis for 2 weeks during low-volume season and had a greater than expectations vacation. Seriously, best trip ever! Here are a few of the highlights I enjoyed by staying at Oasis: 1. The location. Nestled between raw mountainous jungle and a shallow river, the Oasis property features many beautiful plants, trees, several ponds with koi/frogs, and...

Never having been to Mexico before I did not know what to expect from the little village of Yelapa, only accessible by water? Casita in the jungle with no walls? Crazy talk! But after an amusing panga ride to Yelapa that had us stopping at several places to drop off people for work we made it to the protected bay...

We stayed at the Yelapa Oasis for three nights over the New Year. I loved the property. It is a beautiful garden setting on the edge of the jungle and the river, with a handful of casitas spread out throughout the grounds. Our casita was clean and charming, and I loved lying there listening to the birds and the like....

Sebastian and his crew are great. Highly recommend the mango margaritas!!! Beautiful place just off the path very serene. Be sure to hike to the waterfall while you are there. A little quieter as its not on the ocean.

Thank you Cheryl and Sebastian for the wonderful stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my all too short visit to Yelapa and the Oasis. I had stayed in Yelapa last year at another hotel on the other side of the river and found in somewhat isolated from the village, overly expensive, and not that warm. While wandering the village I had kept...

The Oasis truly is a piece of paradise. Sebastian and Cheryl and their whole team were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating to all of our needs. We stayed in Casita #5 while on our honeymoon and ate at their restaurant for two nights. Beautiful landscape and truly excellent company to be in. Stay here if you want to have a...

I don’t like writing negative reviews but I have to say the Yelapa Oasis was a disappointment. Particularly in contrast to where we stayed next (Casa Dulce Vida, Puerto Vallarta, reviewed elsewhere on this site) and to places like Bahia De La Luna on the Oaxaca south coast. The proprietor, Cheryl, was helpful, though we never met her and only...

Thank you very much for sharing your comments here, although I'm very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are committed to guest satisfaction, however, and therefore I very much regret that you didn't mention anything about this to us while at the Oasis, which would have enabled us to correct the issues right...

Our stay at the Yelapa Oasis was unplanned and boy are we THRILLED that we ended up staying here. We had casita #5 that faces the river and you can see the bay over the lush landscape. Hostess/owner Cheryl's hospitality was beyond our experience. We felt totally at home. The casita was roomy and super clean. The bathroom was awesome...

I could have eaten every meal at Oasis. It is a wonderful spot to visit and very romantic to sit at night for dinner. It is located right on the river and it also has many little huts to stay at too. Make sure this is a place you visit if you are in Yelapa. Thank you for the morning...

Merry Christmas Sebastian & Family! Will be back November, 2012 to visit your sanctuary, enjoy your genuine hospitality, and relax over drinks and your amazing pizza! For simply meandering down a jungle path after visiting the village of Yelapa in November, 2011, and wandering into your property because it looked like somewhere special, the four of us were warmly welcomed...
