don't stay here if you want to live in the lap of luxury. Stay here because you want to hear the ocean and wake up under a mosquito net 2 steps away from the sand. We stayed here one night and it was perfect. Take...More
Recently visited Yelapa and stayed at the Hotel Lagunita. Had been reading the reviews and they are a little misguiding. This is not a 4-star hotel.....this is about the level of a fish camp cabin! Rooms are wide open to the outdoor environment, there is...More
Yelapa is an amazing place to visit. 40 minute water taxi ride from Puerto Vallarta. Hotel Lagunita is right on the beach. We joked that we felt like we were in "Gilligan's Island." Amazing views! The rooms are a bit sparse, but clean. The sound...More

Thank you for your kindly review. i'm glad you enjoy the food and our service and we hope you can stay with us in the future!
Best locale for beach front rooms! Just relax on the beach...and enjoy! The room s are very comfortable, and the views are to die for! Fall asleep to the waves crashing on the beach and wake up to the beautiful sunrise shining in the bay.

Our bungalow was one of the ones further out by the pier but not on it like you mention. I think the ones on the pier would be fine. There will be people passing by when boats unload. But when we were there, there was really only one big offload/reload a day. So not quite private but also not super busy. Yelapa beach is so awesome! And we loved Lagunitas. Hope this helps :)
