Have been coming here dinner with friends for at least the last six years annually. It started well and showed so much promise in the beginning but from then on it seemed to have peaked and each year the standards have decreased both in service and food quality which is so disappointing for the potential it could have delivered. The...

I stayed a night at the Gardner's Inn Hotel and I am glad I didn't stay any longer. I was aware before coming here that there would be noise issues (from the pub below the accomodation and ongoing traffic from the main highway road and train station), but that wasn't my biggest concerns. When I arrived, there was no proper...

We were staying at a local B&B and needed a quick easy meal after driving all day. The Gardner is the oldest licenced establishment in the region and it looks it. The brasserie is not all that impressive, very basic meals but priced reasonably, The young girl at the bar that served me and took our meal order was lovely....

A group of three enjoyed lunch at this lovely old hotel yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good. My barramundi was perfect and very generous size. My daughter had lasagne and was pleased. The staff were very friendly and helpful and meals came promptly. We will remember this stop on our trips from Bathurst to Sydney.

The staff here were all very friendly and extremely helpful on fulfilling our requests. The decor is wonderfully old fashioned, but the rooms are quite small. Everything was mostly clean but all of the windows seemed to be filthy. Being so close to the main road and railway track, the rooms on the front of the building suffer from very...

The hotel interior is nice, but the rooms don't have aircon or even fans. The window in the room we stayed in doesn't open, and although we complained to the staff they didn't seem to care at all.....

We really got what we expected from reading the reviews on tripadvisor. The hotel is guite old and rundown. Kracks in the celing and the walls. Its close to a road and cars and trucks pass loudly outside. And on friday night you could here the party from the downstairs pub until midnight. On the plus side, the staff was...

This hotel is great need of hospitality and room staff, especially on a Sunday. Be prepared for a wait if you check-in lunchtime on a Sunday: the Manager was doubling-up as Restaurant-Bookings person as well as Reception, etc. After the hotel made an error for our reservation, having booked us for a Saturday night instead of Sunday night, we discovered...

On a very cold Saturday night, we called in to have a drink by the fire. The food being delivered to customers looked so good, we decided to have dinner there. Hubby had the roast of the day (beef) and I had the chicken carbonara pasta. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, in fact mine was the best carbonara I have...
