Basic and traditional style of motel room, updated bathroom. No noise from adjoining rooms. One of the cheaper options for Blue Mtns. Nice managers. Good for our one night stay. Walls need a good paint. Book ahead and use this app for nearby restaurants.

Couldn't get accommodation in Katoomba but we tried Blackheath. I was so glad we did found High Mountain motor Inn on the right just coming into Blackheath. All we need is a good bed and clean bathroom and that is exactly what we got. Highly recommended.

1: Describe the service you experienced. The check in service was easy and welcoming. This is a small hotel and your stock standard old school motor inn located on the Great Western Highway. The staff were friendly and helpful. 2: Tell us how you liked the room The room itself was bright and airy, I’d say recently renovated, it was...

Booked in late, amenable host. Room adequate, good bed, good shower, had to tuck myself into the toilet area. No noise from highway so good night's sleep. Worse places to stay. Quite charming with lovely ambience in the garden area.

Although the rooms are small and the bathrooms dated there is something special about this 1960's establishment. The rooms are very clean, plenty of hot water for a shower and lovely comfortable bed. There is a lovely shopping village just a short walk up the road with lots of great Antiques and memorabilia in the old picture theatre and food...

This is not an upmarket place, but it is clean, convenient, and cheap. The room and bathroom were quite small, but had everything we needed, TV, air con, tea and coffee making, hair dryer. Despite being on the highway, it was quiet ( the solid walls, even between rooms, helped this.) We had breakfast in our room, it was reasonably...

So the ensuite needs an update and possible remodelling, bit on the small side but everything functions. The water pressure was pretty low and the hot water sporadic. There's minimal hanging storage and the room was a bit squishy with a queen bed and small table. We found the bed a bit hard for our liking and the railway is...

So friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are outdated but very clean, beds I think are new but very firm, linen was clean and doonas...

We had a triple room that was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. Judging by the full Carpark it is a popular spot for people looking for cheaper accommodation than the general Katoomba area. It is only about 8 minutes into Katoomba and all the Iconic spots.
